I agree the review should be out. If they can't review it because of the matchmaking issues, well then knock the game down and say its possible to be working later but as of now this is what you get.
Dont delay a review when the final product is out to the masses. Maybe people would like to know of the issues and hold off on purchasing Halo MCC.
@kinectthedots: Who says it hasn't been reviews. http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/halo-the-master-chief-collection
I don't need to see GS review to know the game is great overall. 343 will get the servers and matchmaking feature fixed soon enough. I don't think that problem will last long.
Apparently MCC might not have dedicated servers either.

MS couldn't even be original about it, they wanted their own drive club.
Its GS so they are probably waiting for the game to get fixed and get enough patches to give it a good score.. if it wasnt halo they would review it before any patches as soon as possible to give it the lowest score possible but since its halo they'll wait so they can give it a good score
that's 4 games worth of content to review, that's quite a task, not to mention each game has already been reviewed, I'm curious if they'll even bother
furthmore since online MP is such a big component of the total package spaning each game I'd imagine they'd need to experience the real thing post launch to give it a real write-up
Could be because there are 4 full campaigns to play through aside from the MP? But you'll spin it into what you want.
Is it really important to you that Halo gets a bad review? Seems that way.
No matter how the score comes out, people know what they're getting. It's Halo, you like it or you don't.
How is it it dumb to not review it...if it's currently broken and not working but released and on the shelves at full price?
My point is GS has reviewed games in the past that had part or portions of games "not finished/not working" that had promised fixes, it can't be that hard for you to understand.
Again, what teh **** are you talking about?
The embargo ended on Nov 7. That's when Chris posted the "Review in progress" on the campaign parts.
Other publications who gave full scored reveiws had only played the campaign aswell.
This is because the multiplayer only went live for everyone on Nov 11. So, publications like GS, etc, had to wait for it to review the MP part.
Jeff was pointing out how stupid it was for people to give a fully scored review without waiting for the mp to go live.
The shit wasn't working so please stop the damage control. It's been documented and reconfirmed by gamers and players who bought the game. if the MP wasn't broken they could have reviewed it. Giving the dates you are listing doesn't change that fact.
Here you go. Halo MCC updated and reviewed
I am not so much jumping on Halo MCC as I am on GS here.
DriveClub got the same treatment and rightfully so. So I really don't understand what your grip is as you didn't have any problem with that review despite a fix being promised in the future, and what about AssCreed?
So much stupid in 1 post.
Ok, unlike DC, the problem lies in the match making, which is actually working for many, including GS. So, they're playing, and probably having issues aswell at the same time.
However, since they're connecting, like many others, they're also playing and reviewing it.
And what are you talking about regarding dates. How can Nov 7 review meantion MP issues, if they didn't play it? So ofcourse those are stupid reviews
lol, silly cow. Damage control? Sounds like you. hahahaha
idiot the date I posted for that review clearly said Nov 12. It was in big bold letters so you couldn't miss it when you DELETED it from my post your'e quoting.
"How can Nov 7 review mention MP issues"
What the hell are you talking about Nov 7th for? You sound really stupid and are in extreme denial and damage control in your fanboy fallout mode right now. Calm the hell down fool, the issue is documented and your desperation and lies won't change anything. I can tell you are taking this personally so maybe you shouldn't comment since you can't handle the facts.
Yeah. AC Unity has glitches and has promised fixes but they have it a score already.

Lots of games have reviews that come out after the game does. I always wonder what takes so long but in this case I think TC is correct in assuming the multiplayer is given a fair shot.
Its been awfully slow in system war lately. GS should just flop mcc to 7 or below for entertainment purposes. It will be epic since halo fps has never gone below a 9. Broken online = low score. Well deserve for a mediocre 10 yr old franchise.
If anything its a bit unfair. They are going to review the game post patch and ignore the server issues. Gs and ign are both doing this.
I smell Cow butt hurt!!! No, even months later, Driveclub is still a pile of steaming crap. But that 1080p is always the deciding factor in gaming quality according to cow nation!!! 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p, 1080p.......See, isn't that annoying?
I remember GS couldn't wait to review TLOUR and even with the issues DriveClub had, it's review was turned in with a pretty swift delivery, so why haven't they reviewed Halo MCC yet? I mean the game is OUT now...has been for 2 whole days.
Is GS waiting for 343 to get their shit together before delivering a review or is there another reason? If that is the case will they start doing that for other games in the future or is this an exception?
Do you think it should be the standard for GS to hold off on a reviews until everything runs perfectly or should they do as they have in the past and review games how they are when they release on shelves?
They are waiting for a fix to justify the 10 score,is about the only thing i can think off the game has already been out for days and the review still isn't here..hahaha
If it makes you feel better it holds an 89 on metacritic.
88 sadly for lemming it dropped again.

Excuses lame excuse.. The review should had been here already...IGN,Polygon,Eurogamer,joystic and many other have already review the game and has 41 entries on meta, the only logical thing is they are waiting for a fix which would be a total joke,i hope that is not the case.

The anniversary version of the first halo game got a 8 on gamespot. Both pc ports of the first halo games scored below a 9 on gamespot if I recall.
LMAO, is this thread for real??? are you expecting for them to play 4 10 hours or so campaings? then check Forge, then check all the multiplayer elements in what? just a few days??? you must be out of your damn mind.
