So you have a choice to peace out of this world and go live in a video game world--where would you choose?

Being honest though, thought it was funny seeing stuff like people waiting tables at restaurants in Trek lol. I know it's a dumb nitpick, just find it hard to believe there would be a ready supply of people willing to wait tables for the love of it.

Yeah, and the cynic in me says we would devolve to what people were in Pixar's "WALL-E" movie; just lazy, overweight, gluttons.

With that said, if I could do any job and didn't have to worry about pay...I'd probably cook. Or keep working as a brewer. Or go back to working construction and doing demolition; it was a college job, but I was so happy and in shape and loved working with the crew.

I'm probably romanticizing it, but I think people would want to work some sort of job. Not everyone can be an explorer or wants to be an artist, and some folks enjoy bringing people a plate of delicious food and seeing them smile.

Assuming we suddenly cracked things like energy abundance for everyone, replicators for material needs, AI and robotics handling the mundane... yeah it seems almost certain we'd go through a WALL-E period lol. But I'd also think that for many, it would set in pretty quickly that that's no way to live. Imagine most would seek out ways to be active and productive.

I've had times in my life when I didn't have to do much of shit to live very comfortably. Sitting around, vegging out, gets old fast.

Not sure if I'd actually work a job given a Trek utopia. But I'd definitely further pursue arts, skills, fitness goals, and probably just travel all the time.

and some folks enjoy bringing people a plate of delicious food and seeing them smile.

Thinking on it further, probably would be a different dynamic to it. Patrons probably a whole lot less likely to be assholes to their servers, for a variety of reasons. And it's not like the server is sweating over tips, stressed out just trying to get by. I could see it.

I'd have to say FH3's world as it's based of my homeland, so it would still be familiar and allow me to go insane in all the best cars the world has to offer.

I'd go into Stasis Pod and on my way to Andromeda Galaxy in Mass Effect universe. This is me saying screw Earth!

i'd pick far cry 3 simply because the game is such a great open-world experience and i'd love to explore it in real time. the island isn't exactly the biggest but it has so many interesting spots and so much to do. other option would be tomb raider (2013) for the same reason.

Super Mario World would be a fun world to live in. Koopas and gombas are easy, and it would be cool to do the jumps.

I'd wish for a magic emulation cabinet spanning every game ever made. I'd go wherever I wanted and leave like Brendan Frazier in Bedazzled.. lol. Speaking of which now I need to watch that movie again... also loving some of the answers like Extreme Beach Volleyball and Star Wars/Trek. I'd have to add them to my favorites folder

Mass Effect. In real life I had love to explore the Solar system and other galaxies, provided that it was safe.
