Some of you guys are too hyped about Crysis 2!

no we are not,i reallt dont like FPS how can i say itcrysis1 wasnt that good,just like other FPS games,originality is the key in success

It'd be funny if Crysis on PS3 looked significantly better than the 360 version.

I can't wait for Crysis 2 to get a 9.7+ and have THE best graphics on consoles this gen. Boy am I going to rub it in. :)

People are way to hyped on a games graphics and they haven't even seen any gameplay of it yet.

im sure theyll show something at E3 or earlier. but i think a lot of the hype is from the recent showing that the gaming media has been gushing over. and they have seen gameplay.

Just because Crysis was the best looking game this gen so far, this does not mean that Crysis 2 will be the best looking CONSOLE game this gen. Given that we have seen precious little full HD footage (if any?) I am amazed that so many are jumping on the bandwagon and claiming the new console graphics king.

I predict the game will look stellar on the PC and good on the consoles... but some of you are expecting far far too much.

I'm pretty hyped after hearing they hired an award winning novel writer to come in a write the story. Could make for an awesome game.

Also you're the very first person I've seen use accept properly EVER here on GS or even on youtube. 99.99% of people put except instead of accept...Have a internetz for that.

Considering the gameplay that made the original crysis great is being dumbed downed a little it may not get AAA.

it really depends, Crytek has never made a straight linear-scripted game before, i mean Far Cry was open-sandbox-style, Crysis was basically Far Cry on steroids, and now a linear Crysis 2? i never played Warhead, i heard it was pretty linear so i can't really say how well Crysis would play linear, but i'd imagine there's got to be some big design changes in combat and enemies and overall playstyle

But it will be the best looking console game. Why? Because we've seen countless CryEngine 3 demonstrations on each console. And what the engine is able to pull off is really cool.
