11GB... Argh. Why're games getting big? (At least it's not as big as Rage. **shudder**) I assumed a game like this would be around 5 to 6GB at best. But noooo... With DD being the only way for me to buy games, this is seriously problematic.
Anyway, the rest of specs are like the norm these days, so no probs there.

How big is Rage?
The only Pc game I can think of off the back of my head that requires more than this is x-plan 9 which (if you want to download all the disks) 60gigs of free space.

Lol!Why does sonic need to be tessellated.
Because they can. Needs more simulated individual strands of hair and more smoothness! :o

Rage is like 20GB. =S Umm... X what? Wait... X Plane 9...HOLY MOTHER *bleep*! That's not gonna come out on a DD service anytime soon. :PVersion 9 comes on 6 double-sided DVDs, most of which comprise the global scenery, which is 78GB uncompressed.
It's cause Sega hates the PC platform. Renegade Ops released on Xbox 360/PS3 and they didnt announce the final PC release date until about a week ago.

no, Sega is just another japanese dev/publisher that doesnt know how to handle the PC market
Shogun 2 and Football manager 2012 both sold great on PC, Sega doesnt hate the PC market, this is most likely a test to see how future Sonic games do on PC and if its worth porting it, its not on Steam yet so i cant say anything

My take on it is that since it is on GMG, it will appear on Steam. I know GMG gives you a code to enter in Steam when the game is ready for pre-load.
Sonic Generations PC has been comfirmed. :D Available on Steam!

ThanksMobilechicaneX for keeping me informed of this game. I wouldn't know much if you didn't keep posting about it :)
Great news that it's being released, all I need now is for Dragonball Z for PC :P
GREAT NEWS!!
Im excited , im PC gamer alone this gen for various reasons. first gen since ATARI 2600.
I used to be huge sonic fan back at genesis days and i really liked Sonic Adventure on DC. But after that i didnt like a lot sonic games though when i saw Generations i felt again this old Sonic feeling. I was thinking this game wont make it on PC but HEY..here it is and YEAH, day 1 for me. Im excited. Game looks phenomenal for a sonic game
^ nice pics, it's always good to see color in this world full of shades of gray games. I may pick up the PC and DS versions. It's funny thinking back the last Sonic game I played on PC was Sonic R.

all the last gen DBZ games are on PC, they new ones suck
I wonder what that lightning bolt icon does in those classic screens. Pressing Y/Triangle obviously activates something. Any ideas?
burgeg
They brought back the shields from Sonic 3; the fire, lighting, and bubble shield. The icon looks like it will activate the shield.

But those were just activated when you jump on item boxes. I would have thought it would be the same in Generations.[QUOTE="Valiant_Rebel"]

Ok, the game looks pretty, and i'm extremely happy it's coming to pc, but, i still cannot believe in those recommended specs, is this BF3 or something? maybe it's because of the 3D thing, which as far as i know, requires a lot of FPS.
I don't get this game...Some pics look stunning and fantastic, while others like really bad ( I agree with some people and say it looks on par with last gen) which is very disheartening to say the least.
Man it looks so pretty. So many games, but I'm still gonna get Generations cause I been a Sonic fan my whole life :)
