After seeing the demo of VR in my store (the Samsung Galaxy S6), VR isn't very interesting to me anymore. A game would really have to blow my socks off to get me to buy VR.

It might change in the future, but for the most part, VR has really yet to impress me.
Am i the only one on SW who gives no f*cks about anything VR related? All these news and im like 'lol okay. next...'
@SolidGame_basic: Not really interested until after a year after launch. Most of the games shown didn't really interest me that much. There were like 2 games that caught my eye, but I'll do a wait and see at this point. The price will be a big factor for most gamers interested in PSVR. I've already played the Oculus Rift and several demos. It was pretty good. Best game was a Star Wars attack the Death Star demo.

People still believe PSVR will cost less than $400?
Don't think it will be less then $400. Sony would lose a mint.
@silversix_: I don't really care at this stage, now it's clunky and expensive. But in 5ish years, it could be pretty cool (especially with that room tracking stuff, as long as you have a room large enough for it). Right now I see these Sony VR games as the equivalent of Microsoft Kinect games, maybe they will lead to something, but maybe they're a waste of time. I found kinect pretty fun at first, then the novelty wore off. Hopefully for Sony's sake that's not what happens to their own VR.
I love how Sony is at least acting like they are committing to VR strongly and ppl take this and rip it apart into negative bits.
Christ, give the shit a chance first.
If it turns out to be the next Kinect....whatever, did we lose anything?
But I remember ppl being excited for Kinect....can we not be so jaded now?

Sony has done this time and time again. Not sure how you don't see it. It's not like Sony has delivered support for their peripherals in the past and just saying you have 100+ games in dev doesn't mean they'll release 100+ games. I bet a huge majority are indie filler games. You'd have to get a large majority of the user base to purchase 1 for Sony to fully commit to supporting it over the PS4s lifetime. I really doubt more than 5% will purchase one.
This has nothing to do with MS or Kinect. This is typical Sony releasing something and failing to support it.
@mr_huggles_dog: Your buying into the Sony Pr Machine. Thats not a knock against you because they are really good at getting people super hyped about something, and then dropping it like a bad habit.
$599 Rift.
$499 PSVR
PSVR has an external box, requires the PS Camera and may even come packaged with 2 move controllers. $499 may even be selling at a loss.
Get ready folks. 2016 is gonna be expensive.
@kingtito: I get that....trust me I do. Such things as the Killzone 2 reveal still in my mind.
But it's like I said....they're at least saying they're putting forth a good effort. Should we praise Sony for just saying this? Of course not.
But ppl in contrast are already blasting them for the same thing.
Would it be better if they said "well guys, we're only working on 4 games for our new $500 VR...hope you weren't excited"?
@spitfire-six: No....I'm not.
I don't plan on buying any VR headset any time soon.
I just don't think it's right to bash them for something positive when the opposite of "we're only working on a few games for VR" would be met with equal negativity.
So my point is....how do you win with some ppl?
@spitfire-six: I don't know what you're referring to, but MS have only themselves to blame for this gen.
