Sony and Nintendo disappoint again.

baby like? its third person gameplay. its made the way it is on purpose. meant to feel real. not super hero fast movements. same with uncharted. it fits the game. last of us 2 is even better in the gameplay department. story not so much. has a sony logo. last of us is rated 2nd top game ever. right behind zelda.

What a load of horse 💩 its slow and sluggish, the gameplay is clunky when reacting to the world around you.

Like I said it's got a Sony logo on it so you automatically love it.

I loved alan wake same gen 360. that has no sony logo on it. its rated number 2 for a reason and its not because the controls are clunky.

TLOU & TLOU2 both scored 8-10 at GS..The medium got a 9.

You are kidding, right? It's #52 highest rated game ever made according to Metacritic. Games that are ahead of that include Perfect Dark, Halo CE, Skyrim, Halo 2...all of which are Xbox Game Studios games.

Nintendo has been sticking to their own stream events for a while that I know of. Sony too has been skipping events for a few years now so not one bit surprised.

That being said I'm curious if all Microsoft has to show is a repeat of their event a few weeks back or whether they have anything left for a few more big surprises.

How anyone can single out Sony and Nintendo for being disappointing is laughable, while buoying Microsoft nonetheless.

Have you been paying attention to game releases for the last decade? Have you been reading about studio closures? It's more alarming when you factor in the sheer number of studios one of these companies has acquired, and the corresponding near-nothingness that has emanated from them in the time since.

So Microsoft had a showing people liked recently. So did Nintendo. You tell me which of the two is for certain and without a doubt going to deliver when push comes to shove.

Give it time. We'll see how most of these Microsoft game releases actually turn out good when they release. If they release.

It's gonna be Battletoads, Psychonauts 2 and Hi-Fi Rush again at best.

lol bungie is owned by sony. Microsoft does not own 4j studio and skyrim is on every console. so will there future games.

Halo is an Xbox Game Studio's IP, not a Bungie IP. But hey, you tried. Perfect Dark IP is owned by Xbox Game Studios. Skyrim is an Xbox Game Studios IP.

Sony's IP, TLOU2, is in 52nd spot, not number 2. Behind all those MS IPs.

Nintendo’s focus is announcing their next console coming this fiscal year, so I’m not surprise they will be skipping Gamescom. They may announce the successor between now to March 2025

It's a good thing for cows though, those in attendance get to play Sony's upcoming kiddy games, so it's a win win situation.

One thing you have to remember it's a recession right now so companies can only risk so much.
