Also this was Sony's worst Playstation 3 advert. This made me scream "OMGWTFBBQ KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!! AH!ZOMGAHA!" than "Hey I want to buy a Playstation 3."

Care to explain why? or did you just read the thread title and not actully look at the advert or you did look at it and not understand who it is?, your saying a pictue depicking a scene giving a blood transfusion to someone who tried to kill hitler because he didn't agree with what he was doing and someone who was humain to prisioners etc is racist and cruel?. Like i said, care to explain your opinion or do you admit you know nothing about who the person is/was and you were just jumping on the bandwagon regardless?.
I guess nobody gets it and I'm one of the only ones who actually enjoy watching Sony get weird.
These Sony ads are part of a bigger artistic campaign for adults and "thinking" people made for the Playstation by Sony, they are supposed to be symbolic, fun, weird and to shock a little but they don't do it out of stupidity or because they are crazy. People like David Lynch and Chris Cunningham have been part of this campaign and I think they are both some of the biggest surreal artists out there today.

I have a theory which may explain all their weired ads since the PS1. I don't think they mean anything, I reckon they just want you to think about it enough to make it stick in your mind, so you remember Playstation brand.
Because I still remember the weired girl/alien PS1 advert.
The adverts make no sense other than you remember them, come to think of it, I remember more PS adverts than other console adverts.
In that sense their adverts are actually quite clever.
Ehh It's not really a good ad but other than that I don't see what the big deal is, as usual ppl making a bigger deal out of Sony's bad taste in ads. Xp
