Sony Announces PlayStation Experience 2015

Deep breath: PlayStation Experience is officially a go for 2015! The epic two-day PlayStation community event is back, relocating to sunny/foggy/windy San Francisco this December 5th and 6th.

What can you expect this year? For starters, a ton of hands-on time with 2015 and 2016’s biggest games, plus a front-row seat for major PlayStation announcements. Plus some of those patented PlayStation surprises you’ve come to expect.

Anyone find it BS they actually charge for the event? Like they are asking their fans to pay so they can throw an event to advertise products.

Considering Spike t.v Video Games Awards starts this November, Sony better not show too much on that Awards and just take everything to PlayStation Experience, last year they made that mistake.

I'd never pay money to get into an event like this for any company. Why should I pay them so they can throw a show to advertise their product. anything they show can be viewed for free online. it's a giant sham

Last year was a bit disappointing in new IP showcase, I hope its better this time

The last time Sony did this event, we got three free Playstation games so I'm okay with another event.

is the Playstation experience 2015 where you tell everyone you have loads to play where as in reality you finished everything months ago and just keep saying "just wait til next year" under your breath over and over just like you did in 2014, 13, etc? :P

That Street Fighter V announcement got someone salty.

Experiences can be bad. Bad Mexican food, a bad travel experience and last years Playstation experience.

Get ready cows to fluff up more diasappointment into something you act like you care about.

Just one of the big conferences in store for Sony for the latter part of the year. Exciting times for those special announcements! It's gonna be huge.

Isn't Xbone doing a special event in Japan? Twice? In 1 week? While TGS is going on?

What Street Fighter V announcement and why would I be salty about it? I'm a PC gamer I'll be able to play SFV, should I choose to but I probably won't because I'm not really a fan.

@Ant_17: Japan is dead. Microsoft is sending a Green food truck with an Xbox logo on it. Very low key event to attract attention in a different way. Keep your chin up. You still know Sony's "Experience" will be overblown bullshit. But hey! I enjoyed talking with you!

I heard they're holding this event to say they're proud to announce that lots of extra work has gone into Persona 5 which unfortunately means it will now come out in 2017 (if we're lucky).

Possible megatons will be FF 12 remaster, FFXIII trilogy remaster and brand new companion hardware for the PS4: The Remaster Machine. Basically you pop all your PS3 games in it and they come out in 1080p, just like that.

All these studios just sitting on the bench.

TLoU is Bruce and Neil's baby and they are working on U4. Aint no body doing anything TLoU related with out Neil and Bruce.

If and when there is a TLoU2, it will be in 4 years.

New medievil, that's all I want left from Sony at this point. That and more footage of games we know are already coming.

im pretty sure thats what the whole event is gonna be with announcements of new features and such.

you guys are kidding your selves if you think there is gona be new games announcements, much less AAAe and new IPs.

We can only assume that Sony will work on TLoU2 when they are finish with Uncharted 4. Once the game is out, the'll probably be working on TLoU2 and talk about it at E3 2016 or 2017. Besides, Nolan North has already confirm that they are working TLoU2 anyways, just little by little.

I'm not expecting it, just saying it would be cool.

So, just release dates on a few games coming this fall and late winter. Follow by a lot of games that gamers will be hyped with no release dates :P
