@charizard1605: hopefully the vita is relevant there. I just picked up a Vita Slim for $80 at a pawn shop with the black carrying case and a few games.

No, because a release date announcement in December implies that the game itself is not coming out until 2016 at the earliest. At that point I would be too disgusted to care.

When it was announced that MS would have shows in japan, I applauded them on their effort for doing so and said i'd be interested to see what they show. It's like you lems can't do that because your fanboy company worshiping syndrome is so strong all you can do is get mad when the "other" company talks about games. Not everyone is a deranged fanboy who can spout nothing but idiotic hate when companies announce their games. Crackdown 3 is one game, we are talking bout a game show here and lems are trying to talk down on games or announcemnts they have absolutely no idea about, big difference lol. One thing is crystal clear you guys care more about company shilling than actual games. FYI Crackdown isn't a super amazing franchinse and never has been, it's only hyped by xbox fans now because it's exclusive and there is little else to jump on.
I'm just excited that there is an event, hopefully they show upcoming games and maybe 1 surprise. This goes to show what sales will do and we should all be happy. I loved MS's gamercon and I hope this event is on the same level.

They had Playstation Experience last year and it was pretty much a dud. It's basically a whole event of advertisements for future games and features with TBA (To Be Announced) and TBD (To Be Determined) release dates. Almost all of what they showed last year still hasn't came out or became a massive flop like The Odor 1886. This advertisement event is placed in December for a reason, it's holiday shopping season. I give credit to Sony since it seem to work for them. So might as well try again this year and get consumers excited for the future since they have nothing for the holiday. The only good thing about this advertisement event is if you went to the actual event and grabbed a raffle ticket to win prizes.
