um...the original Duke was the result of many, many focus groups, dozens of mockups and only finally received the final designa after much testing..

the DC had nothing to do with the xbox's controller....

Copying is okay, as long as its not exactly the same. You have to add your own twist to it or try to improve it. Nothing is completely orginal. Everything is based off of something.

The Pc is not integrated in any way. Sure there is a prodct called Xfire that makes a ton of money through advertisement but it cannot compare.

The interview shows that Sony know they've screwed up but prefer not to say so despite clearly appearing to feel that way. They're hardly on a level playing field seeing how the 360 has IM chat, movie rental, cross-game chat, and unified friends lists, so I guess that's just Sony being their typical selves again....

Of course, they're going to improve their service in the future, but so is Microsoft. MS create cool features, Sony copies them, MS comes up with even more features, SOny copies them ,etc. Unless they come up with something useful and worth while (Home doesn't count, cows) they're not going to keep up with Live. Also, I'll laugh myself to death if they begin charging for PSN.

Sony makes the PS2, MS copies them. Sony makes the PS3, MS copies them (elite).

and sony still has better full-featured downloadable games (warhawk, socom: confrontation, the agency)

it's almost always a good thing. it's a recognition of how good an idea is.

and zune is a copy of ipod problem is when you copy something try to improve it or make it better or else you end up just like zune...

that's like saying.... ooo microsoft copied the "a" button off of nintendo!!!! they can't do anything original, while sony made up x-circle-square-triangle. didn't sony copy the shapes off of whoever invented the damn shapes?mistervengeance
