But let's get back to the basics first, fraud. For the 65th time where are the sources for GDDR is better than DDR for CPUs? 3.5 months and counting.

My personal hunch is neither Sweeney nor Tencent gave up their shares but more likely other minority stakeholders sold their shares for the profit. The question still remains why did Tencent or more specifically Sweeney allowed that and didn't grab it for themselves.

Wonder if they'll collaborate with each other on cross platform rights access.

epic never said it was the best ssd ever. he said its the best ssd solution. there a big difference there and as we can see it's all true. everything epic has said about the ssd is true. because there are other sources that are saying it as well.

You believed; and to some degree still do, the hype so much you were spewing nonsense about it rendering triangles, games having more details because of the hard drive and games can be terabytes in size among other nonsensical claims. So, its not hard to believe that the hype Tim has levied behind the SSD was just honest contributions especially when 250 million dollars was contributed less than 2 months later.

i never said the ssd was rendering triangles. i said it was loading in the gpu at the same time the system memory was doing it. epic said not enough system memory to keep all those triangles in it. so the ssd brought more in frame by frame to the gpu.

you then said a ssd is not fast enough for that. well the ps5 ssd solution is. it can bring in any assets they want from the ssd and the dma chip on the custom main chip tells were that data were to go. but again you don't believe me or third parties or sony or even epic. because you know everything about tech and how it works.

Let me share a fact with you. I don't know everything about tech and I am not even close. But I do know about this tech on the fundamental level. Its not like I haven't seen people who know better spewing bullshit. I have seen it happening over the last 20 years prior to a new console launch. Developers start making up bullshit that defies the fundamentals of computer science. And, every time fanboys eat it up.

yes the ssd has no relationship with the gpu until the dma controller sends it were it needs to go. ssd is to slow in pc because of the bottlenecks it has before it gets there. yes i seen people spewing bull shit gen after gen. these bottlenecks has been there for awhile and everyone knows of them.

The custom decompressor for Kraken is in the main custom chip (which has both an AMD CPU and AMD Radeon RDNA 2 chip, and there is a DMA controller, two I/O processors, and on-chip RAM, on the SSD chip. It links to system memory and to the custom flash controller.

PS5 will have a main chip that includes both an Advanced Micro Devices central processing unit and a AMD Radeon RDNA 2 graphics processing unit. Both of those processors will be on the same chip.

this is why epic is saying this. everything is linked together. see that cpu on the main chip thats what makes it fast enough.

you can also add external SSDs from the open market and install them in a bay on the PS5. They connect to the custom I/O unit and take advantage of those features. But the external SSD has to be as fast as the PS5 SSD.

see there is this to. its not the ssd its the custom i/o unit that can take the ssd data to were it needs to go.

It has been obvious for sometime now that Sony and Epic were in sharing the same bed. Now at least is official.

so who is going to bet with me that the tech demo might be an actual game now? next ps5 game reveal will have it.
