TLG is stuck in eternal limbo and FFVII is never getting remade.

I think we will atleast get some info on The Last Guardian in some form. Which and how, I am unsure of.

I am not sure if we will ever see a FF 7 remake, and I am not certain that is a bad thing. FF 7 was what it was thanks to the time it landed, how society was back then, and what people expected from it. It can not make as big a splash Again, the gaming scene is rather different, the anime cyperpunkish setting does not interrest as many as it likely did back then, and the issue with weather they would need to make the story just like the original FF 7 will get alot of critique, some people would want an option to save a certain someone -.- Some would simply want the story retold with the major points intact, but be different. Others Again want a retelling that is exactly like it was. They can not win that. And the story can not give the same shock and awe as it did, because Everyone and thier dog, knows the plot, plottwists and what not.

Atlest The Last Guardian has better chances in all of the above.

In reality those are amongst the lowest on my wishlist.

TLG will never come out. That is their announcement,

I know that the developers of the new Amplitude will be there, so I'm hoping that they show some gameplay.

Final Fantasy VII remake is more likely than The Last Guardian, but not expecting these two to be shown or talked about at PlayStation Experience.

I don't think its either of those. I cant see it being crash since that IP is owned by Activision, and I doubt they have any interest in bring it back.

I'd say it's still to early for both FF7R and TLG. TLG is more likely to be shown at E3 2015.

I've read through the whole thread on gaf and they've been going crazy with hype. Another clue we got is that one of the big announcements will be an old IP. Crash is a good candidate. It would be perfect for this event and it's been hunted at before. Street Fighter has also been hinted at with hadouken cabs commercials, but I know there's another exclusive fighter being made that's a spiritual successor to PSABR but it won't be shown here.

A FFVII remake would be multiplatform. No way S-E would make an exclusive game on next-gen consoles.

The Last Guardian is vapourware. If they had anything to show it would have been shown at this point.

Sony needs to do this to rally support and make up for the barren Holiday. Talk about no support.

The announcements will be all minor. Sales announcements, future plans, how many this and how many that. Maybe a new feature for PSN Now. Moving on.

Sony doing this event for a reason. They know PS4 only needs the games and now they can finally show the real deal of whats coming 2015. Uncharted 4, Horizen, Bloodborne, Last Guardian... and wait whats santa monica been doing? They helping with 2 more big games Everybody's Gone to The Rapture and The Order 1886, but we still havent seen their game ;)

FF7 will happen after FF15- in 2017 for the 20th anniversary I suspect.

Crash has been rotting in Kotick's shed for years which says to me Activision don't consider it a highly valued IP- it's not a stretch for Sony to afford a deal with them. A small team inside ND or another 1st party could handle a proper Crash Bandicoot 4. (These are all theories, 'cos what the **** do I really know)

yup that sums up some of the bombs that have been made partial to people already. There are more still kept secret, or so it alludes too anyway. Great weekend ahead.
