Sony Delays New PSN Store Launch

Just a couple of days before Sony's warmly received (so far) redesigned PSN Store was supposed to launch, Sony has announced that the store will not be launching this Tuesday after all. To add insult to injury, they also declined to comment when the store would be launching here.

This does not seem to apply to EU or JP.

yea I've tried the new store when it luanched in EU store, it had lots of problems ( slow, icons takes a loooong time to appear and sometimes they don't appear at all....etc ) then when I exited the store it was pulled I couldn't enter again, these problems needs to be fixed.

So its a good call imo, I rather wait for a good experience out the gate than beta testing on us.

That's okay, it'll be launched at some point. No need to get upset about it; it's only a PS Store redesign. Not a big deal.

We alread have the new store in the EU and it kinda sucks, its takes its time loading up and closing. If it int broke dont fix it.

Keep it delayed then. I don't want a new store even if they fix the bugs if it's slower.

1. Seeing as I knew nothing about this until early last week, it's not going to debunk my anticipation

2. I have no anticipation for it because it's nothing more than a reskin of store I never buy things from

Coming from the EU I can only say how craptatsic it is. Already mention my heavy dislike for it in another thread.

Well, maybe they delayed it there so they can fix at least NOT having a freaking proper search function....
