Sony dominated E3 and Gamecom 2010

Lol, Nintendo killed everyone at E3, badly. Gamescon was more in the middle, PC or PS3 but no clear victor like E3.

Sony's Press Conference at E3 was boring I liked some of the announcement but the show overall was boring and too long I almost fell asleep and I didn't do that for Microsoft's and I thought Microsoft's was the worst.

I wouldnt call a platform receiving PC multiplats domination.

PC won Gamescom 2010 by far with lots of announcements, attention and coverage.

Nintendo won E3 and gamecom is up for debate.

If you think Marcus, PSN-Plus and PS-Move is better than Donkey Kong, Kirby, Zelda, and 3ds.

lol at people saying Nintendo won E3, why? Because of the 3DS? Give me a break. As far as core games go Sony owned all. And I'm all about the core games. Even Gametrailers gave Sony best lineup of E3, that's what it's about, the best lineup. And Gamescon was just ownage after ownage. Sony has won this generation for it's fans.

Another dumb argument focused on people voicing opinions as fact. It all boils down to personal preference. If someone liked Twisted Metal, GT5, Killzone 3, Infamous 2 more than Zelda, Donkey Kong, Epic Mickey, then Sony won E3 to them. If you really like Halo Reach and Gears 3 then maybe even Microsoft won to you. There was no "clear winner" since it's all about opinion and what you enjoy. Easy to admit when a conference had a good show, but if you don't care about what they showed what does it really matter?

What exactly does Sony have coming that's so special again?

The 3DS. It was the main highlight of E3, and the main reason why Nintendo won easily.

In E3 sony didn't just dominate it it made microsoft look like **** it's conference was so packed full of awesome games that it announced more than half of them the week before it and in gamescon it also announced some games that i didn't even dream about. Almost every third party game was running on the PS Honorable Mention: Nintendo for the 3ds, Zelda, Metroid and dokey kong. (except Activision which is a backstabber -IW-) (((((I'll be posting on my Gamespot blog about this on a few days so check my profile soon)))))))))))))))))))

Will take a racing sim(GT5) a build your own game masterpiece (LBP2) an amazing looking shooter (KZ3) a cool gesture based game (Sorcery) a puzzle fps (Portal 2), a car Combat game (twisted metal) , a ton of rpgs (Y's 7, Y's 1 and 2, Classic Dungeon, ZHt, y's oath , legend of heroes, valkyria chronicles 2, birth by sleep , parasite eve3, patapon 3) a over the top free roam super heroe game (infamous 2), and a killer trilogy ending sci fi shooter (Resistance 3) over any thing the wii has to offer.

Nintendo took E3 hands down. Sony didn't really announce any new surprise games or anything like that beyond Portal 2. Nintendo brought out the big guns and the 3DS easily stole the show.

Nintendo and Microsoft weren't at Gamescon for the most part.

PC was and it had an amazing show that put Sony's to shame.

Did you see Sony's conference? They pretty much gave us information we already had (prices, launch dates, ect) and then announced Resistance 3 (shocker) and the new Ratchet game that looks ok at best.

Okay, as somebody who is a relatively new PS3 owner, I would like you fanboys to explain to me what games are coming up for the PS3 that I should be excited about. So far, all I really see is LBP 2. And don't bother telling me Grant Turismo 5, because that's a racing game and I find racing games, especially ones that boast realism, to be incredibly boring. I just drove all over the place in real life. I'm not impressed by pretend driving.

So, let's have a list.

In my opinion, this has been the only E3 where all three brought the same amount of mediocrity to the table.

What New Games that the General Public did not know about at E3 did Sony Announce?

Twisted Metal?

Nintendo Announced Games that we didn't even know that was coming out.

Donkey Kong Country Returns was just a mere Rumor the day BEFORE the announcement took place and that took people by surprise, Goldeneye was thought to be a hoax (although that was shown a DAY BEFORE THE ANNOUNCEMENT at IGN.), No one saw Kirby coming, No one saw Kid Icarus coming, and No one saw the explosive line up that the 3DS has, and we Finally got to see more Zelda.

Nintendo had an awesome Conference at E3. Sure Sony can have Gamescom.

But The Majority of the Gaming Community says Nintendo had the best showing.
