If the law allows you to avoid class-action law suits, and it was your company, would you do it? I would. This is one of those cases where you should be mad at the law, not the company. You will see these types of clauses pop up in contracts everywhere now.

idc about this since it will most lkiely never affect me but i did think it was interesting this story was on all the major sites.

i didn't even know about it until i saw the story on bbc news.

i do have to say i was shocked that i agreed to something and hit the accept button on psn and there was not an hour and a half system update that followed.

i don't have to tell you that was a shocking first for any ps3 owner.

Never say never. It's highly unlikely, but for example, if Sony were to put out a product with faulty wiring that caused my house to burn down, I would sue them.

This sounds illegal and I thought in the Terms of Agreement it said that if you feel like that this is violating your rights you can still take this to court.
