No Man's Sky - I dig the art style but I'm still not 100% certain what you do in the game and I've watched almost all of the videos I can find for it

The Last Guardian - Doesn't look that much more impressive than when it was first announced and development hell is sure to have zapped some of the creative motivation and inspiration that was originally driving the development team. In fact I don't remember a single game that has been in development this long but actually wound up being great

Where the hell is:

Rime

Half Life 2 was in development for 6 years. And it won a lot of prizes and game of the year awards. It got almost unanimous praise from gamers and the press.

But unfortunately... it's an exception, not the rule.

I'm also very skeptical towards TLG now. Where it used to be one of my most anticipated PS3 games...

WTH is Rime indeed, this is the second time I don't see it show up in a video of upcoming PS4 games. I'm getting worried :(

No Mans Sky is going to flop so fucking hard.

I'm thinking it's going to need more time, but I read somewhere that it was inspired by Zelda and Metroid, which can ONLY mean incredible things. Hopefully we see something soon.

With the PS4 close to 40 million now Sony should easily be in the 60+ million range by the end of next year with their massive of a lineup of games.

They are pushing multiplats as exclusives. Sony are yet again trying to trick the gamers.

60 million is impossible by the end of next year. It would have to sell better than the Wii did at it's peak or equal to it to get to 60 million. I think it's only going to sell enough to possibly sell around 20 million more units.Next year will also probably be the PS4's peak and it should decline slowly after next year. I am thinking it will be between 52 million and 56 million(and maybe slightly higher) by the end of next year.

It's going to be between 35-38 million by the end of this year. There's no way it gets a boost large enough to break the 60 million mark next year. It will have to sell near the Wii at it's peak to break 60 million and I think it's only going to sell a couple more million next year compared to this year which should safely put the console at least above 55 million, but not over 60 million.

The PS4 was already 30.2 million sold before Thanksgiving.

The PS4 sold over 1.5 million according to NPD for November. Double that figure for worldwide.

The PS4 will easily sell 2+ million in the US for December. Double that for worldwide.

How much the PS4 sold before or after the 30.2 million number from the 22nd of November isn't known.

The PS4 as of today is somewhere in the 37 million range depending on how huge a December it had and how much of the November sales were before or after the 22nd.

The PS2 was selling in the 22-24 million worldwide range in its third and fourth years. The PS4 is outpacing the PS2 at the same point in its life.

Not only not impossible, something dramatic would have to happen over the next year to derail Sony. The Xbox One is irrelevant and on track to only hit first Xbox wordwide installed base numbers. Nintendo going from their worst console ever to derailing the PS4 isn't something likely to happen.

If GT Sport really releases next year along with all the other games I can see that 60mil number easily. It already has multiple million console selling pushers in 1Q 2016 in Street Fighter V and Uncharted 4. If GT Sport gameplay gets shown at E3 and looks phenomenal and announced as a holiday release you can go ahead and lock that 60mil figure down as done.

If it ends closer to the 40 million by the end of the year I think it could pull 60 million, but I'm thinking the rate the PS4 is selling will be sustained or increase a bit this year because of all of the software releasing this year for the console. I'm thinking it's going to sell over 20 million with a max of around 22 million.I am predicting that the PS4 was under 38 million sold/shipped by the end of last year also and we will probably now if this is true in the next week or so. I'm predicting at least 55 million sold/shipped by the end of next year for the ps4 and possibly as high as 58 million.

It's very unlikely the PS4 is going to sell over 2 million in the US in December. It's only going to get a slight boost over what it sold in November most likely.

That is by far the saddest list of games I've ever seen. Sony proving yet again that it can take advantage of it's idiot fanbase. Shame Sony themselves are idiots who can't turn a profit hence why Sony is going further and further down the toilet.
