Awesome, well deserved. Way better than being acquired by Microsoft and being forced to make Game Pass fodder. Looking forward to their next game! Returnal is one of my favorites, but they've made many great games.

Regarding Bluepoint yep. Not only PlayStation Japan wrongly announce Bluepoint joining the lineup of 1st party studios, they also have a separate picture. This has to mean either its done or close to. Wonder what game next though, new IP or another Remake? I dont know if Sony ever own any IP from PS1 days. Hmm Syphon Filter? ... oh Legend of Dragoon would be nice!
@robert_sparkes: some probably just comfortable with this relationship level. Sony and Nintendo have quite a few studios they familiar with. Xbox also used to have such relationship with Playground Games before they bought the studios.
Thank god Sony finally has some good news for PS fans to be happy about. It was getting bad out here watching the Xbox/Bethesda/GamePass Copium over the last few months. Now you guys can finally stop harassing anyone on twitter who gives positive attention to Xbox.
It makes business sense specially with MS hungry for acquisitions. They should get Bluepoint too.
But at the same time it's a shame that Sony fans hate acquisitions so maybe their next game will sell even less than Returnal, which is another problem since Sony fans only care about sales (except Nintendo games, in that case sales and scores don't matter)... Hum maybe it was a bad business decision.
This is fantastic. I enjoyed Returnal much more than games like Doom. I really like Returnal's fierce bullet-hell action with TPS-style, and its sound design is way more refined than its competitors. I can't wait for their next game with more budget from Sony.

@SecretPolice: the difference is Sony is acquiring companies that work 90 percent with Sony anyway. What games have Insomniac and Housemarque made for Xbox in the last 5 years? Hell besides Sunset Overdrive, there's not a non Playstation game between them. Can you comprehend the difference?
While Microsoft fills their roster with the makers of Fallout 76, Contrast and Bleeding Edge - Sony is filling their roster with the makers of AAAE bangers such as Marvel's Spider-Man, Ratchet & Clank and Returnal.
