Wii outsells PS3, 360 combined in Australia

"While Australians wanted nothing to do with the GameCube, they are absolutely in love with the Wii. While exact figures aren't out yet, it is known that the Wii sold more units than the 360 and PS3 combined for the month of July. Right now, total Wii sales in Australia are at 138,192 units, while the Cube managed to sell through 160,000 units...in its entire lifespan."

EDIT: Forgot my point, the war just started when the PS3 and Wii came out less then a year ago, so you fail.

I'm actually glad that the Wii is doing well in Australia. Nintendo poured so much money into the region last-gen (I remember Animal Crossing came to Australia before any other Western country), so it's good to see that they are finally getting the sales they've wanted for all these years. I think they deserve it.

I always thought the game cube did really poorly here last gen.. but I had no idea it did that poorly..

Will be interesting to see how 360 competes with Wii now.. as they are both the same price.
