It’s funny how OP forgotten the glory days of the 360. MS was paying Activison so much money to block dlc and other games from coming over to the ps3 on same day release.

Sony even started holding certain modes/features hostage on their platform, which I find even more offensive than straight up exclusives.

So yeah, they started this whole ordeal than started crying when a big player came in and started to do it too.

Would you stop crying already? I play PS exclusives that i care about. FF16 and Spiderman2 might be 90+ Meta games, and could be winning GOTY awards all over, but i wouldn't care cuz its not for me.

You play whatever shovelware that comes out on your system just so you could tell the likes of me that you're using your X, but in reality, these games feel more of a chore to you than anything else, and i find this to be incredibly pathetic. Your gaming experience feels more like work than entertainment, and that is so bad, incredibly bad.

There's a video from just before the ps1 launched of the leads of the company saying their whole strategy was to buy exclusives and buy developers to make Playstation the dominating game console before it even launched. They definitely did a lot to make paying for exclusives the way it is today.

Looks like it is not a Miyazaki's visions only. Sony approached them with an idea. Demon's Souls wouldn't be without Sony. Same as ex Japan Studio provided the idea of Bloodborne. Demon's Souls is a 1ST PARTY GAME, same as Bloodborne. No need to ignore damn facts. Get over it, Demon's Souls is a Sony's idea, it is a Sony IP.

They did not even argue against the MS deal and never really complain about the competition at all so at least they are not the ridiculous hypocrites that Sony are. Sony was straight up trying to block the competition for doing what they do all the time.

I don't know, bruh, TLOU2 had more gameplay in it than 3 Gears titles combined, and it was also way better. You only watch its cutscenes on youtube because you're impressed by the quality on offer.

According to wiki, PS5 has 560 games vs Xbox series having 397. I doubt Sony is paying for the 163 game difference. But I do agree that unless Sony or MS had a financial part in making the game, it should be multiplat. The only exclusives should be the ones made specifically for the console, which Xbox isn't going to have any, so this is just about Sony and Nintendo at this point. It's sad because Series X could perform so much better than it's been with games this gen so far, even first party games.

All the companies have done that, Sony still does it because it still works for them, Microsoft tried to do the exact same but stopped working for them more or less at half of the 360 era, they still tried with the xbox one though.

If there is one thing I have learned about hardwenzen, it is that if there is something he doesn't like, it is supposed to be the universal truth. "Microsoft is crap, Xbox is crap, Gamepass only has shovelware, Ubisoft is crap, Assassin's Creed is crap". It is counterproductive to discuss these subjects with him.

Anyway, I played Redfall today for the first time since its abysmal release. The game has improved a lot. A few more patches and a better frame rate and we might actually have a winner on our hands. I'll start playing Redfall once I have finished Far Cry 6 (Another game that hardwenzen hates with passion).
