@the-a-baum: I have no issue with console's broadening the capabilities of their devices, in regards to different kinds of media, but it can't come at the expense of its primary purpose, which is to play video games.

Correct. There's was a point in the PS3's life cycle where it was trying to sport features and media over games... those were the dark days. This is why this comes off as a red flag.

Agree with the general posts here -- the article is way off in comprehending the mistakes MS made with X1 vs. where Sony is now.
