Sony is SCARED to release GT5.

Bottom line is Sony has been Scared to release this game and still is. They could of and wanted to release the game last holiday. But they got scared after seeing Forza 3 back at the TGS. I'm not just saying this many game publishers were saying the samething.

Sony know they are in LAST PLACE. And they know they are not top dogs no more. Yet they will still try and say they are the top but we all know that Sony has fallen from grave very painfully this gen.

Anyway. Sony knows this is and once was the holy grail (GT5) the PS name. But they clearly know and expect that the once powerhouse sales machine that was once GT is maybe no more. Yes GT5 will sell fairly decent but Sony knows and expects it to maybe not be the once dominating sales game that it used to be. Just look at the game sales for Sony games. They are not that great. So they clearly are scared that already being in last place that if GT5 sells not like it did back in the day that they are truly beat this gen.

Sony being scared of sales figures and scared of Forza being the better game has prevented the release of GT5 and is still doing it now.

i respect sony but even day one its mistake after mistake

back in 1995 ps launched with only 2 controller ports n64 came with 4 so did dc , ,

in 2000 - when four controller ports were standard they again choose the cheap way-2 also they lost exclusive after exclusive,

2004 e3 nintendo announces ds , sony followed suit so nintendo beat them to the bloody pult , and today they make their mistake

psp go - no ones buying them it cost more for sony to put them on download then it does to put them on umd,

further more, the ps3 launched at 600 , with all pllayability people wanted a price drop those came at sacrafices that shouldnt be

for example ps2 bc, they claim it cost more but here they are still selling ps2s, they could have just discontinued them in place

and they lose more exclusives- mgs final- fantasy , believe me they had this day coming to them , ,

for every sony fan who says they brought 3d etc etc , ,

news flash they did no such thing , nintendo launched virtual boy which is the very first 3d ala ps3 3d every 1 is hyping , device

then they launched 3d graphics -snes super fx chip

back in 94 -super fx chip-snes 91

motion sensing -85 nes becomes standard 2006-wii

so ya tell me again and back on to gt 5 , yes their scared they know they lost

360 has not only 1 but they have the following exclusive racing games

forza 2

pgr 4

race pro and forza 3 . .

pgr 5 -in development ,

so ya

and blu ray has not won, it may have tooken out hd -dvd but it fails to take out dvds,

theres more movies released on dvd then bluray and there is proof if you look in walmart,

dvds have 4 big sections -1 five dollar bin a 13 dollar/9 bin ,, the main new release shelfs and tv show shelves bluray only has 10 at a time for the most part spots on a shelf , ,

they wouldnt fill a whole isle ,lol ,

and they cost 5 more then dvds , sometimes 10 -20 more

Toshiba was courting Warner Bros. as well, and let's not forget Toshiba's payout to Paramount. Bottomline, Toshiba lost. Hope they learned the lesson. They could have merged with Blu, but chose to go their own course for the $$$.

Meh, I bought it knowing full well what I was getting. I've played it more than most other games I've bought this generation, so I've definitely got my money's worth. I even played GT Concept to death.

The reason they are taking so long is that they want thing game to be as perfect as possible. And yes, forza is better now, but lets wait till GT5 comes out before we compare ;)

There was no proof of Warner recieveing any money anyway, because it would have shown up in their financial statements. I'm not saying they didn't recieve anything but if they did, it certainly wasn't a huge sum of money, it was more than likely they got other benefits for going Blu, if they even got anything at all. It was heavily debated after it happened, and there wasn't one shred of solid proof brought up, just endless speculation. Unlike Universal's switch to HD DVD ;)

Prologue sold 5 million, Mr HonkeyTonkJokeAccount, they've basically made a profit on GT5 before it's even released. It's going to sell more than every Forza combined.

that proves that it doesnt matter how terible GT games are its still gunna sale very well

What I have a problem with is this game was supposed to be a system seller. By the time it is released, many people will have the system already making the amount of consoles sold not much more than what it would have been. I think Sony failed on that part

Sorry there is no excuse this far into the gen not to have released the game NONE. The competition has put out 2 AAA games this gen.
