Who buys the monthly and 3 month subscription?

I generally buy 3 month subscriptions to Gold since I don't like committing to a service for a year when I might use it for the whole year.

Translation: "We're going to see if we can milk our consumers some more and still get away with it."

I buy yearly, not having to think about renewing til the year later is preferable for me. I hate having things on my mind.

Oh, so this doesn't affect 12-month subscriptions. Good.

Does it say how much by? In the UK the 3 month ps+ was £11.99. The 3 month XBL Gold is currently £14.99 here, so i imagine it's just going to increase the price to the same as XBL.

In continental Europe, PS+ is more expensive than Gold. Moreover, it used to be actually cheaper to get those 3-month subs periodically instead of a yearly sub.

this is the reason why cows cant get too comfortable on their high horse. i guess this is the consequence of sony leaning heavily on the playstation brand to save the company. ive been seeing a lot of low key milkage and i dont like it.

Considering the Euro is still worth more than the Dollar (and both are worth quite a bit more than the Yen) this is some abusive cash grab.

Luckily for me, I tend to buy the 12-month pack, so it seems I remain unaffected. However, those that buy 1 and 3-month packs (especially the latter) will get milked harder than the rest.

The value of the Euro has dropped quite a bit. No surprise. It's currently equal to $1.10 and it was even lower earlier this year so no big surprise.
