It must seem odd to Ken (and other lemmings) for the MGS bundle to actually include the game. Perhaps if they released a neon-green PS3 for $499 KenKittyragi would buy it.
I got excited about this MGS4 bundle but the more I think about it the less it seems unlikely I will ever get another game for it besides MGS4 and it will probably end up on 360 at some point...so I will probably get one of those hd-dvd/blu-ray combo players on clearence.

Um buy the $399 40GB now genius there's not really a difference there aside from getting KZ2 and not owning a PS3 for months while good games are coming out. The bundle is an 80GB with DS3 and MGS4 for $499.
What they need is a $299 40GB by christmas, a 80GB with the partial BC and a game for $399, and a $499 full BC 160GB version with a bunch of extras.

The whole story and world of the game is just bad a**. Just like Gears of War.
Now that I can agree with because I enjoyed Killzone story thats like the only reason I kept playing the original game. I just hope it doesnt have that many issues with KZ2.

I find it hard to believe someone enjoys different variety of games seen on the 360 but yet can only find one game out of the PS3 lineup worth purchasing.
Your crazy, this Bundle is great. WAAAAAAAY Better than the Motorstorm bundle. But now Lemmings are going to say, "oh but MGS 4 didnt sell well because it was a bundle waaaaah!"

Yep. Long time ago I had a feeling they would bundle a PS3 with MGS4 and DS3, and looks like my feelings were correct. But yeah, that 50 to 100 price drop would be more delish.
MGS4 is arguably the biggest PS3 game coming out, MANY many people want this game, and alot of people bought their PS3's just for this game! It is indeed a system seller game, why not make a bundle out of it?

I agree a 40GB bundle needs to happen. And I would suggest it happens before summer. Now, with what game, that can be debated. But its a bundle at that price that would be the big hit.

Cheapest I've seen so far is $399.
HOwever, this is a great deal for people like myself who want MGS4. Normally I wouldn't even give the $499 model a second glance, other than for the BC maybe. But why buy the 40 gig for $399, then pay $60 (maybe more here in Canada) for MGS4...when I can get the bigger HDD, BC, additional hardware functions, and DS3 for only $30-$40 more.

I wish you'd try PSN before bashing it.
When you read "I wish you had Xbox Live and all my friends" you should have known what type of gamer you were dealing with. Pretty weak to use "my huge friend list" as fodder.
I'm still waiting on lemmings to tell me whats so much worse about the PSN store compared to XBL. We all knwo it has oodles of movies and TV shows (neat). But how else is it so much better?
