Read the article and it sounds like that feature is basically the only addition...
Its a nice feature and all but its certainly not going to bring PSN to the same level as LIVE.
Would be better if they improved the infrastructure rather than adding bells and whistles to their current service.
I don't want PSN to be at xbox live level, that level now is problems all around have you see xbox live running on xbox one.? Yeah the rumors claim it is broke and we all know how on the spot the latest rumors about the xbox one had been.
The short story is that Xbox Live and the OS, especially in functions that involve XBL, are a complete fucking mess. One source says we aren’t talking weeks until it works correctly but “months.” Things like parties dropping people when moving from one thing to another. Connectivity issues. Missed invites. Friend requests not working, etc.
He then said “If all you are doing is running a game and that’s the only app things are fine.”

We already knew about those features, and they're completely useless.
Oh well, I guess this is it then. Theres no more improvements to PSN for Sony to talk about because they keep talking about the same things over and over.
Its disappointing that their priorities are wrong.
You can taste the tears on this post..hahaa
What does live has now that make it so great.? because dedicated servers had been use by PS games since Socom on PS2 on 2002 before live was even out.
Oh i get it you think that hiding all that crap that the PS4 gets free, really count as features for xbox live lol...

If thats your experience with LIVE then I would steer clear of it also. However due to the wonderful feature filled LIVE network I have huge friend lists meaning I can avoid angry screaming 9 years olds. I also tend to mute people.
Im not criticising this feature Im just saying iv experienced online play with both the 360 and PS3 and I although I have not had many negative experiences with either ...LIVE definitely trumps PSN. Its just easier, its more reliable in my experience.
I read the Topic title expecting some exciting new features, maybe even a game changer, this feature is pretty dull.
So the reason is bullsh** fanboysm.? Because i also have a ton of friends on PSN so i don't have to play with screaming teens.
Find me 1 game with 8 players co-op on xbox live,or a game that support 60 players, that was possible on PS3 all i care is gameplay not crappy features hidden under a pay wall,i don't think XBL is over PSN in any way for next gen consoles, hell if anything is behind PSN,party chat cross platform does live has that.? Cross play with PC.?
Because the PS4 has in and on launch, but i guess you get what you pay for right..? lol
