C'mon, there's a convenience to cross game chat... my buddies often send me texts while I play... which is alot slower form of communication than cross game chat.Good because I will NEVER care about such a useless feature when there are things called cell phones and blue tooth available that are superior anyways.

I never believed it was coming anyway, despite what sony and its fanboys said.navyguy21Sony never said it was coming... :|
I know right. Why would I cross game chat with people on 360/PC when I can call them long distance on my cell!Good because I will NEVER care about such a useless feature when there are things called cell phones and blue tooth available that are superior anyways.

alrighty, i will live

According to TC, your PS3 will not.
Maybe the coffin TC refers to will be as nice as this 360 coffin:

[QUOTE="Heirren"]Why?Good, because XGC is ruining xbox live for me.

Nobody communicates in-game. It is almost a rare occurance.

It's certainly not useless... but certainly not a big deal. It's been almost 5 years... the PS3 will survive without cross game chat.Of course it's a 'useless' feature. Anything that Sony will never get is useless...

I know right. Why would I cross game chat with people on 360/PC when I can call them long distance on my cell! What difference does it make because you're paying to play on Live anyways? Besides, if you have a cell phone you probably have an expensive and unlimited "call anyone, anytime" plan.[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]

Stuff like we're looking into the possibility of cross game chat, and we know cross game chat is a wanted feature. Even stuff like our engineers are working on cross game chat don't promise or say that they will release the feature.

That's an Engadget forum poster who claims to work for Sony and has posted Playstation news in the past. It wasn't officially Sony.

Why arguing that talking to 8 players on your a cell phone is just as good as crossgame chat is just logical.
Sure, those International calling long distence rates are way cheaper then $45 a year....[QUOTE="KevinnButlerNPK"]

Except cell phones are mobile... and not the only form of voice communication...No, more like "i know this guy on this forum, no matter how much evidence is out there, he will continue to ignore it" Clearly Sony has said they were thinking about it, trying, considering, or trying it. Meaning they were working with the idea. You cant spin that anymore

As a counter to Grawse... You can get a free service like skype on most devices that many have throughout their homes, since the PS3 doesn't come with a mic then just get one you can use with the PS3 and the device. There, free cross game chat.[QUOTE="Ultra_Combo"][QUOTE="carljohnson3456"] Let's please quit comparing cell phones to cross game voice chat...carljohnson3456

To be fair... they never said they were WORKING on it... as in, it was coming. They said they were looking at doing it... hell, who knows, maybe after that they finally figured out that they couldnt actually do it. Either way, Sony never said it was coming, or that they were working on it... they danced around it though. I'm glad they finally came clean.Except cell phones are mobile... and not the only form of voice communication...[QUOTE="carljohnson3456"][QUOTE="Ultra_Combo"]
