What point am I avoiding?
1.Sony realized that they can't compete with Stadia and Xcloud thus the reason they are working with MS to improve their services. This is Sony, going to its competitors for assistance.
2.No amount of fanboy drivel can negate that fact. Both Xcloud and Stadia would be releasing in November with unprecedented device coverage and
3.Xcloud would be sporting 5 times the library of PSNow.
So, it is true that PSNow in its current state is not competitive for what is to come in November. The good news is that they are making changes to adapt to the situation.
My original response to you prior to your goal post moving. Very simple and clean. :)
None of which were in the Original post but let's play the game and what you snivel and slink away.
1) Sony uses and continues to use AWS and RackSpace. They will CONTINUE to use these services because they take the best hosting deal. Sony shopped around and MS offered the best deal. They will move to Google, or Amazon, or Azure or anybody they want to when they want to. They aren't getting Azure because they have no choice, there is an entire article about Sony going to Amazon to expand their deal, Amazon didn't want to drop their costs so they went to Microsoft. If MS wants to attempt to increase costs they go to Amazon or Google. They have the flexibility to play off of the competitors.
2)xCloud IS NOT RELEASING IN NOVEMBER YOU LYING FANBOY. They have a beta this year. That's all. They aren't releasing as a purchasable consumer product until 2020. Unless of course you are counting Console Streaming as "xCloud", which you explicitly said its not.
3)3500 hundred games is fantastic, at $200 a month or whatever it's going to cost. Is it a subscription model or a pay per game model?
This is the funniest part of this.
So, it is true that PSNow in its current state is not competitive for what is to come in November. The good news is that they are making changes to adapt to the situation.
What will be here in November??? Stadia is ONLY launching their Pro version in November with a total of 35 games....
xCloud won't even have a consumer option available, just a beta. And you STILLdon't know costs or business model of xCloud Azure servers even now.
Yet somehow, non-existent consumer products which will be unreleased in November or only a Pro tier which costs $10 a month, plus over $1500 to get all the available 35 games.. is somehow unable to compete IN NOVEMBER, to a streaming game service offering 800 games for $20 a month total.
Do you even read the stuff you are writing?
