TLOU 2 has barely started development. It probably won't be out until 2019. Sony doesn't need to release anything against Scorpio anyway. They will have it beat on price and exclusive games. Plus they have the marketing rights to the biggest game of the year RDR 2.

We actually don't know if it will be the worst version. If Sony is paying them for marketing rights part of the agreement could be for parity with the Scorpio version. Sony is in position to pay devs to hold back the Scorpio versions of games with their 2:1 sales lead.

A price drop will happen around that time for both versions of PS4 and its all SONY needs imo.

Scorpio will show off specs but will lack the games to compete. And if you want my opinion or prediction , Scorpio wont be the epic powerhouse everyone thinks will be since then will be a very pricey console and that will hurt sales big time.

MS knows the situation are currently in and beleive me what they care for mainly are sales boost and not if Scorpio will stand next to a great mid/high end PC just to pick on PS4 pro. And this can be achieved only with a 599 to 699 system the least .That isnt happening.

That would only hurt Sony position. Sony messed up with the PS4 pro they jumped ahead of MS and that was a mistake. Sony can come out with PS5 in 2018 or 19, but MS can just release a new console in 2020 and beats PS5 again.

Well, I will be 100% open and honest about the Scorpio reveal at E3. I hope they have games galore and that the machine is all it's cracked up to be, but I'd be lying if I didn't think, especially after the Scalebound cancellation, that if they fall short of that mark that they aren't just dead weight holding up a perfectly good space for someone competitive to expand into.

XBox is going one of two ways at E3 this year. It's either back on track and pumping out games like it's 2006 again, or they are holding back gaming by playing the part of immovable object in an industry that never NEEDED anyone. Just ask Sega and Atari about that.
