I guess investors do know something about the gaming industry?

So in lother words MS and Sony are the same, lol? Cows kill me with their hypocracy. The Xbox One is as much a core gaming system as the PS4 will do social networking, stream movies, and provide motion controller gaming. Its just my opinion that MS does it better:) With 15 first year exclusives, and 8 being new IP's, as well as the swarm of new games being announced right now from all third parties, ALL MS has to do is please the 360 fanbase core gamers at E3 :)Microsoft just went the complete wrong direction with the ONE. I already have phones, tablets that do everything it does, and am fine with my cable box(which will likely go at some point soon). People buy gaming consoles for the one thing no other device in the home can give you, top quality video games at the convenience of one unified platform. PS4 went the right way, a gaming console for gamers and game developers, and guess what i can still watch Netlfix, Amazon Instant, and other movie/music streaming services.

Except its all because there are rumors that Sony may sell its Entertainment division. This happens after Microsoft's conference.
Looks like gamers are walking away from Microsoft.

It served as a major "shock" for only those who thought MS wasn't capable pulling pretty shady stuff.
This is Microsoft yo.
What shady stuff?
Charging to use preowned games is pretty shady. It's an online pass for the whole disk and a giant screw you to customers, in the name of a few dollars the publisher has no right to make.ALL HAIL KING SONY!! give the lems their freshly new JVC VCR. Â That event was bogus and here i was expecting to be wowed and it felt like it was great advertising for cable companies, no rich features just a bunch of blah blah tv blah pause tv blah, id be really mad to be an xbox fan right now. Â
I wonder what could have prompted this?
My sides...
darkspineslayer
shows just how important gaming is to Sony's bottom line and how unimportant gaming is to Microsoft's bottom line. Â Lackluster xbox reveal and MS stock drops less than one percent. Â While Sony shoots up almost 10 percent. Â Seems like sony has a lot more riding on this than MS and investors know it. Â And it shows in how sony is so game focussed while MS is going after a broader audience.
Except its all because there are rumors that Sony may sell its Entertainment division. I don't think Sony will do it though, besides that wants to buy a 20% share of the company and a spot on the companies board of directors, I think he just wants to sell off Sony's wealth of entertainment assets to another arm of his hedge fund to acquire media rights to TV and movie assets. That's just wild speculation on my part, but I don't think Sony will do it because they need their valuable assets to cover their exhisting liabilities. Plus I suspect they've fudged some big number on their latest fiscal report balance sheet on building and land assets not reflecting the $2.3 billion sale of their two buildings, the balance sheet reflects the revenues of the asset sale but not loss of the asset value in the companies total assets. I think if he did really care he'd aid Sony in licensing deals of their TV and movie media rights to earn revenues. This happens after Microsoft's conference.
