Maybe I got it wrong, but did he admit that the PS3 has a small lack of games?IronBass
Yes, Sony says the games aren't appealing enough to the Japanese audience for them to buy the ps3.
[QUOTE="Javy03"][QUOTE="Ibacai"] It actually is if you read my post before this one you just did.-General_Ram-
I did, you said by the Two year mark it will have ES. So the PS3 will have ES, Disegea 3, and Enchanted arm at the same time the 360 had Enchanted arm and Blue Dragon. How is that behind? Then it will have Valkyria Chronicles WKS, Last Remnant, and more soon.
ill say it for a third time..........
360 got timed exclusivity of Enchanted Arms, Eternal Sonata, and upcoming Last Remnant. It has 2 jrpgMMOs (multiplat but not on PS3) which are Phantasy Star Universe and FFX1. It has Blue Dragon, Lost Odessey, Tales of Vesperia. 09 will deliever Cry On and Star OCean. And thats WITHOUT the tokyo game show announcements.
PS3 just got its first jrpg........Eternal Sonata....a 1 year port.
**********You seem to be comparing 360 and PS3 in their second year. WRONG, 360 is in its third year. 360 got a year lead and u gotta accept and DEAL with that. And dont count Srpgs.....that only makes ur argument even less compelling.
Why do you keep reposting that. The arguement was that Sony is behind in the Software departent at the same time as the 360 and that the HD era is ONLY hurting the PS3. I dispelled that rumor by my above post saying that BOTH systems had to wait a good while for their JRPGs. I know the 360 had a 1 year head start, I know it has more JRPGs then the PS3 currently has but it looks like the PS3 is going to quickly build its JRPG library as well.
And don't selective discount Disegea 3 while you post TWO MMOs....."that only makes ur argument even less compelling."
Maybe if developing for the PS3 wasn't so clumbsy, they would have more developers use it. lhugheyanother has caught the vision.
I love how people are so cynical on the internet, his intentions obviously aren't bad, he's just saying development on PS3 for that region is entirely too slow, which results in a lack of games for that region. His statment makes complete sense, why is this getting overblown?lantus
In the real world yeah, but on SW, Sony isn't allowed to make valid points. /sarcasm

So, is the cell bad? Think the ps3 will suddenly be getting plenty of awesome Jrpg if it uses the traditional console processors like the wii and 360's? I think the problem lies within the initial price of the ps3 and yes, the Japanese developers limited capability to use the ps3 to its fullness (don't kill, it's a guess). There're already hips of great games produced from the west for the ps3 so yea...But then I believe it's more resources demanding to make a quality Jrpg.
