Sony test ingame music, and ingame friends list in demos, TODAY

Sony test for ingame music and ingame friends list have come up in too demos today. as of today in a new bowling game a test of ingame music can be used, and in the new time shift multiplayer demo, you may bring up the ingame friends list at anytime.

both of these have been confirmed test from sony, and they are testing to see if it works well, before putting out an update to aloow the features to be accesed on a fly.

looks like sony is really listning to the fans, both features will be coming to the ps3 via firmwire update really soon. FOR FREEE...

While the 360 does get these sort of updates for FREE, im glad to hear the ps3 does get ingame music, thats what i love about my 360. Nothin like rockin out to some metal while chainsawing people in Gears.

it only adds that on opsn we will get all the rightfeatures but for free of charge....so add that to the list of free online, no lag, unversil names, opennetwork(ut3 ring a bell) home ect... its all good

huh, walmart maybe cheap but, sams club is not. thats why u have to pay 40 dollars just to get in the place. how eles do u think i can afford ll them hdtv, cell phones, blue tooths, blu ray movies. ect. not from no walmart 6.50 payment thats fashure. but this has nothing to do wit this thread whats so ever. and why the heck do u remeber that? you should have forgot that yesterday. Worst thing about it is that I have a 360 and Wii and I was really excited to get a ps3 as well. But every day it seems I read something else that totally turns me off. I guess I'll wait a while longer. Maybe then they will have an actual next gen console to sell.

Look dude if you can't pony up the 5 bucks a month for xbox live I truly feel for you. And yes sony is a software company as well. When your favorite system has to scramble to get their **** straight and tries to include stuff that sucks regardless you are in denial. Listen I want a ps3 at some point. That point being when they actually have something worthwhile to put my money on. Until then I'll have everything I need and happily pay 50 bucks a year to get it. If you are that broke and close minded you should really look yourself in the mirror and say "Its time for me to get a job" or "Wow I've been owned".

Yes Sony has to get used to things, like accepting being in last place because no one wants to buy overpriced, overhyped hardware and milking people by offering rumble controllers almost 2 years after they told people that rumble wasn't needed or wanted, just like offering a lower priced model without B/C after telling people they really don't need B?C after telling them for years that BC was a cornerstone feature. Next thing you'll tell me is their flagship uber realistic racing sim will actually have car damage on it's 4th sequal, because, as we all know you can just bump cars at 90 miles per hour and they never get damaged...

But I get the most important feature for FREE playing my games online. All the other stuff is not needed anyway and I can live without it but hey as long as sony provide it to us for free I'm not complaining.
