The lag is what's killing the MP; it's horrible at times, especially when leapers appear. On the contrary, the sp is very good (imo), and this is coming from someone who hated R2. The atmosphere is remarkable, weapons are great, and the game's just fun all around.
Anyways, I wonder if we'll see another NieR title announced. I remember reading that the producer had more NieR stuff planned, and was going to announce it this year.

Yeah, I feel like the lag has definitely improved a lot, but still is very noticeable. Patch 1.03 should be released tomorrow (technically today where I'm at :P) or the day after it (Thursday). It's still being reviewed by Sony according to Insomniac's twitter.
That's great, but it sucks that I'm going have to download another 600MB patch again. :P
I hope that SMT game isn't another port.
