Sony unleashes Nessy in Tokyo Bay

You have to see it to believe it. Sony finally mastered the hologram and they made a demo by unleashing Nessy in the Tokyo Bay. A huge 15m Holographic Monster. This could've been a huge hype machine for Cloverfield, but damn - Sony just owned everything. This looks 20 years in the future. How will they adapt this technology? Will it be in gaming? Who knows.

They write the checks. Obviously they see some possible profit in it so they took the risk and invested in something like that.

The last thing of this sort that I read about and saw was the air screen that projects an image onto a rectangle of compressed air so I was thinking of something like that.

Eventually holographs will replace all convential signs/billboards. In the future, Sony will dominate this market and we will see the best signs/billboards soon.

I could see a problem with that people will start looking at the holograph rather than the road. There is already many places in the US that have started to banned billboards or lower the number of them.
