Here is what arrogance truly is. Microsoft: "every body knows the 360 is a better entertainment system then the PS3" Yeah, the delusional corporate fatcats at Microsoft said that! The fact Microsoft thinks they can act like this, when they have never won a generation, and when they consistently put out terrible products (PROD, releasing the same old boring Gears/Halo/Forza sequels year in and year out etc) IS MUCH WORSE Microsoft has become way too arrogant for no reason and with nothing to back it up So hopefully Sony crushes Microsoft At least Sony actually has won a generation of console, unlike Microsoft. BURN! And at least Sony backs everything up and continues to support core gamers, again-all unlike Microsoft Sony is the gamers company! (Sony are core gamers who want to make excellent products for gamers) Microsoft is the gamers enemy (charging for basic online play, kinect box 720, hiding apps behind a pay wall, no games)

I don't think Sony's in a position to buy Apple.

Apple has been on a downturn lately with drops in volume of shares traded. But, it still has more than Sony plus Apple's price per share is worth 27x more than Sony's.

I can never understand why people like Google so much. They are every bit as much of a "big evil corporation" as apple is AND they love collecting all of your personal information, yet people seem to love them for some reason.

Absolutely ridiculous for Sony for thinking they could even attempt this. There's a line between confidence and just plain insanity. Sony has stepped over that line years ago. They are just beginning to rebuild but for many it just may be too late.

actually the whole "Thinks it Could Buy Apple and Samsung in the Future" isn't even found on the original source (reuters japan). The story is about how Sony wants to be #3 in world wide mobile sales, only behind Apple and Samsung. Side note - wtf does this have to do with gaming ?
