last gen the 360 did. It did nothing that great. But did what it was supposed to.

The ps3 was flawed. It's online service and blu-ray drive were super slow. It had better exclusive games though. Why people stuck with it. I even bought one end of gen just to play exclusives although it basically collected dust otherwise.

I think this gen the ps4 corrects all that. Better controller. Faster interface. Better multiplats. It really has no flaws.

The xbone does. It's overpriced. It's underpowered. It has a bunch of crap i don't need(kinect) and xbox gold.

If psn is running well there is no reason to pay more money. This is good imo because the least powerful console won't win this gen like it did last gen.

and I'm sure Microsoft would want to stay profitable - you don't become and continue to be a multi-billion dollar company by cutting corners and accepting losses.

Sony has a better lineup though. MS paid through their teeth for exclusive ips and none of them are that impressive. Killzone Shadow Fall although it might just be another shooter is the most next gen looking game. If I can play Infamous, Uncharted, Last of Us, MLB the Show etc for less money why would i not do that? Plus we get Destiny first. This is the first gen in a while where i really have no interest in the competition.

I remember getting the original xbox and playing the original halo and inside drive for the first time all day on christmas but xbox is all the same these days.

Free games? I don't think so. The correct term to use is "game rentals". PlayStation Plus is a service just like Netflix where you get access to rentals while you are a subscriber and as soon as you stop subscribing, you lose all access to those rentals, but yet nobody ever says that Netflix gives them free movies because that would obviously be a false statement, so why do people keep saying that PlayStation Plus gives them free games?
