PS2 has had massive optical drive errors/failures. PS3 has had YLOD. That's two generations in a row with big problems. MS has only had one blunder. Upside down and on its side, Ps2 had to replace 5 or so of them up to the slim model even. but this award means nothing atleast to system wars and as someone said already a professional org using words such as pwn and such is a failure in and of it self.

True, but the RROD was, and still is a bigger fiasco than the DRE, and the YLOD COMBINED. Heck, the DRE only got big in the gaming world because Sony failed to acknowledge it, and got hit with a ****action lawsuit. M$ treated theirs wait as much courtesy as possible, and it still made a huge debacle in the gaming world, as well as the media, and the world outside of gaming.

Don't forget that the 360 did in fact RROD at a major gaming convention (don't know the name of the convention, but I know it did happen)

You have no evidence that RROD was bigger then DRE all you have is a problem happening at an earlier time in internet penetration into the regular home and another problem happening at a later time where internet penetration was at a even higher mark in the regular home. you have no proof that it was bigger and no one has proof that it wasn't so please dont even try to claim it as a fact oh and by the way ps3s overheated at TGS.

How exactly did you put a PS1 sideways,not only it would fell hard because of the uneven exhaust vents,if you rest it against something you would be blocking the vents.,causing it to over heat which make FMV skip,reading problems are given by any product that carry any optical disc format,that includes,the xbox,Dreamcast,PS1,PS2,PS3,PSP,Gamecube,Saturn,DVD drives,bluray and even PC drives. Yeah i love how you had to replace your PS2 5 times lol.. The PS2 and PS1 were not even close to be as bad as the 360 hardware is,and percentage talking it was way lower,in fact 10% fail rate on 150 million users base is allot of consoles dude,we are talking here 15 million units damage,which make him high,but is way lower than 50% fail rate on 55 million units.

You do know the xbox 360 also suffer from DRE right.? And is not cover by the 3 year RROD warranty either. In fact the xbox 360 is just poorly build,and pretty much any survey on the net show way more people with RROD that YLOF or DRE which the xbox 360 also suffer from combined,the xbox 360 doesn't even feature a build in power supply like the PS3 and still suffer more than the PS3 from over heating. The xbox 360 was poorly build the fact that you actually deny it,and try to say you bough pass by 5 different PS2 says it all,no one will believe that one dude.

I defended RROD? no I said ps2 DRE was worse but since there is no given information that can be trusted from either ps2 dre or RROD then no arugment can be made that one was a worse more wide spread problem then the other. And your words betray you since you seem to think your opinion matters more then any one elses and is an undenaible fact instead of just an opinion. You sure bring up alot of disinformation that your then twisting even worse but you do that in every thread.

.. I would deem the PS3 better overall if they just for once released a update to give party support, better ui especially ingame like the 360, cross game chat.. And a internet explorer that had flash.. Why they haven't done such things boggles the mind.. Then there would be no argument which console multiplayer was the superior..

The xbox 360 and the original xbox also suffer from DRE,and there is not a single link that proves DRE was worst than RROD,in fact even on repair shops charged way less for fixing a optical drive for a PS2 than what they would charge you to fix a 360,changing a lent was not that expensive,it was like $40 the most in most places,so i highly doubt that you bough 5 different PS2 because of DRE when it was far cheaper fixing it.

Yes that is actually true but noone ever talks about it. I actually had4 xboxs die on me with an E74 error or something (original xbox) and never had a single problem out of my PS2, but I had the slim version so maybe that's why.P.S. Good job of not responding to trollscasharmy

I stopped quoting the dude because some how he quotes me every time i post,but every time i respond to him i get a warning and a point loss for trolling can you believe that,so i am not playing his game any more. I don't have a problem with William i quote him and never get a warning.

I wonder who was the genius who came up with this "epic fail pwnie" award? Being one incident that didn't even cause any damage to the users, this seems like quite a streach for such a big award lol. Desperate claims from desperatepeople I guess.

Wouldn't that also mean that you shouldn't make claims that are unfounded?
