Well I'm more of a PC/ xbox player but I can say at least sony is not milking their ips to death especially if uncharted 4 is the last.

So he'd rather have his company make their own games instead of buying everything?

@shibua: sony didnt "pay for the deal" they took up a understandable offer. Cod want to make faster profits by realising there DLC asap reguardless. It only make sense that they reached out to sony with the offer since they have the higher software sales now. So in figurtive business terms , sony didnt pay for shit.

Lets face it, you worded it in a doom and gloom way. Don't blame you though, this is SW after all. And I agree. Imagine a full focused and full budget Twisted Metal game with destructable environments, classic characters, locations and everything. I miss stuff like that. They would rather bring another mediocre Infamous game out than a Syphon Filter. They still have the Wipeout IP, make a next gen Wipeout with one of their studios. It's all good stuff they could make. Same with MS and Nintendo with a few of those, namely Metroid and Phantom Dust.

Jak I could care less about frankly. Ratchet and Clank is coming and that is a better franchise. The last Ratchet game they put full focus and budget into was A Crack In Time and that is one of the best games on PS3, and way better than any Jak game. So my hopes are high for the 2016 Ratchet.

But your argument for franchises that are ending is dumb. Uncharted 4 needs to be the last one, and they should do it large.

Sony doesn't keep beating their franchises into the ground. When they stop being good, they craft something new and amazing. Forza is what, 2 generations old and only has one fewer console release than 3 generations of Gran Turismo?

Unlike the competition Sony is actually capable of making new franchises.

I would like to see some older stuff return because their new stuff besides BloodBorne ain't doing it for me. Uncharted is okay, God of war is getting stale, Horizon hasn't captured my interest yet, Until Dawn is a movie, Ratchet is getting old as well, and GT has been bested by Forza.

I wish Liverpool was still here because I need a new PS4 Wipeout!

Real sad they all perished, I was at home and found out about them dying in this thread. I'm guessing Sony has moved onto new IP but maybe at some point they'll bring life back to some oldies but goodies by hiring a third party dev to handle it. Would love to see Twisted Metal and Socom rejuvenated.
