-major firmware update
-less of a shortage reaching almost 2 - 6 mill mark
-Euro Launch
- Amazing games
-Better graphics and understand of making games

same thing as last time. Ps2 was not all that attractive when it came out but sony eventually and magically made a smooth transition from ps1 to ps2. I'm sure when they are done sucking the life out of ps2 they will hype people to buy a ps3. Unlike xbox and gamecube the ps2 is still alive so I guess thats why Sony didn't lose their head yet. This is the ultimate ownage ever!!! There are simply to many links to so many credible, nonbiased websites and coupled with Sony's incredible arrogance, lies, and promises it just makes the PS3 debut a complete flop. It will take the best year of Sony's gaming department ever to come back from this. And at this point I just don't think they can do it. The PS3 at the end of 2007 will be in 3rd place and still losing money.
