Sooooo.... Gametrailers.....

Remember when Uncharted 2 got a 9.3 and cows flipped out because they said it was a generic game. Yeah, that was funny. We all know GT has done some stupid, fanboyish things to make many of us not respect them. Most recently, they game their GOTY to Modern Warfare 2. Really? Really? That is what a 14 year old chooses but a group of professional reviewers chose a 5 hour campaign and a multiplayer campfest over games like Demon's Souls, Batman: Arkham Assylum (I can't spell that), or even Killzone 2. Oh and Uncharted 2. Almost forgot :roll:. There's also the flawed graphics comparisons. Remember AC1? Xmen? Also funny to watch :).

So what do we think of these guys. I don't like them. I think they can't be trusted and sold out to satisfy the 12 year old that pwns the noobz.

Everybody is bias in some way, shape, or form. To pretend otherwise is foolish. I like their in-depth reviews, I wish they had less spoilers though. By less I mean stop telling me every plot twist in the entire game!

its just an opinion. but i agree that there are game out there that are more deserving of the award.

They suck, almost as much as IGN. They spoil too damn much in their reviews, their award winners are laughable and lastly they probably have the worse community ever.

They have an opinion that deserves to be respected, even if you disagree.

Why don't you complain about Gametrailers ON Gametrailers? I'm sure they welcome criticism lol

They had an opinion and they stated the reasoning. that's all we can ask for and i thought their reasoning was fine. I wouldn't have prioritized the multiplayer as much as they did but heck that's why i have my own mind.

MW2 met it's hype, it's a good game. I haven't played all the games, I doubt everyone has, so why are so many people moaning? Just saying U2 should win GOTY is being ignorant to all the other games you haven't played.

They said that the PC is "marching towards being irrelevent" and that L4D2 is a "console-centric title". So as far as what comes out of their mouths, I feel I should ignore them. But in terms of content, they are second to none.

I am getting sick of everybody calling them biased. They've given a lot of PS3 good score like LBP, inFAMOUS, and Uncharted 2 and I actually agree with a lot of what they say.

GT is not biased and if anybody actually WENT to the site ever since MW2 was announced, you knew they would give it the GOTY.

They probably gave U2 a lower score than the other gaming sites but the content of their review was spot on even though it contained a lot of negativity towards the games originality.

Also how are they biased towards the PS3? If anybody actually listens to their podcasts a lot AT GT think they are PS3 fanboys. Also MW2 is a multiplat and U2 won many awards.

Seriously people grow up and stop thinking people are biased even at the smallest of things. If someone has an opinion, learn to accept the damn thing.-_-

I like GT because they are a great source for looking up gameplay videos. It's just stupid that they have TONS and TONS of spoilers in their reviews. Their reviews overall are decent, but like others say, they have a problem with being consistent in their scores and reasoning for it. I don't really care too much about it, but other people do.

Although I don't agree with their GOTY choice, I do go to their sites for reviews and videos.

Yeah I dont agree with they're GOTY award either but whatever, they really like MW2 obviously.

Let me just say this... According to them GEOW 2 is better than the whole ps3 library, that's gotta tell you something.

I like their hdvideos though, and I stay away from the reviews, which usually contain lots of spoilers.

I have watched some trailers from time to time, they have a long history of issues with the founders there that I don't trust them for anything other than vids. They can have any opinion they want, that's fine. The shady practices and the founders comments from GT is when I stopped trusting the auto-credibility I give sites when I first hear of them. That was years ago too.

Say what? Modern Warfare 2 has a 93 on Gamerankings. The only game I ever hear get talked about in the real world lately is Modern Warfare 2. While I do not agree with their choice, it is definitely a big contender.

I would pick Dragon Age for the PC, heck I don't even own Modern Warfare 2.

Good poll options, although I'd say another one along the lines of this: "They can be trusted. Their reviews should be taken seriously." : P I voted option #4. Everyone who has an opinion should be respected for that opinion, although that doesn't mean it is safe from debate. Debate =/= calling them out for a lack of credibility. rolo107

I think GT are biased in their opinion. I'll be honest though, I'm biased in my opinion. What's the point of a poll if all I want to do is make myself seem right. Polls are for opinions, if mine isn't the same as everyone else's then that's OK.

I agree about the community part. I've looked over the forums at Game Trailers and some of the people there, including the moderators, speak in the most offensive ways. No interest in becoming a part of that community.

In regards to their reviews, I tend to look at the comments for the review first to get an idea if there are spoilers within the video.
