[QUOTE="shawn30"][QUOTE="legalize82"][QUOTE="Badosh"] 15% of the x1 exclusives are shooters.

no jrpg, no platformers, no japan, only blood guns and robots

They showed Spark, where you can make your own game, showed racers showed sports, showed 2 indie games that were original and had no blood, showed Minecraft, showed survival horror and FPS. In other words there was a wealth of diversity,

Terrible. Not many exclusives and a price worse than the PS3 at launch (unless you're American)

[QUOTE="shawn30"][QUOTE="superclocked"][QUOTE="XboxStache"] I was so excited about the XboxOne after seeing the games today; until this. I honestly thought this was a troll page a few days ago...WTF!!!?? I can't support this horseshit...fvcking bullshit!!! I'm legitimately pissed off now. :(

I know how you feel. My son and I were excited as hell after the e3 conference. Then we found out that Microsoft confirmed the 24 check in. I went from high as a kite to pissed off in seconds. I really hope that Microsoft changes this BS...

For the life of me I don;t get the big deal about the 24 hour check in thing. Damn, if I lose my net for a day its not the end of the world. I do much more than game in life. And in all thew years I had my internet service I can't remember it being down for longer than 5 hours. This is the most insignificant argument I hear people say about the Xbox One.

We've got 2 kids and lots of bills. We can't always pay the cable bill. It goes down for a month or more at a time. We literally cannot afford to keep the internet on at all times. If we cannot play the XBox One when we're offline during this time, we're getting a PS4. End of story...

Because if a consumer pays 500 dollars for a fvcking product, there should be no extra stipulations in order for it to be the consumer's product. Are you seriously that dense? If you bought a 100,000 dollar car, but the stipulation was "You can only ride this car 10 miles a day" would you still buy it? The games were awesome, I love the controller, I've supported Xbox since 2001...but it's horseshit for them to employ mandatory stipulations on a product the consumer owns. That's Bullsh!t. But you're probably one of those new age gamers that just began gaming in 2006. My Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox, Ps2, and even my Gamecube and Wii have online connectivity...but it's optional. Gaming servers will not be around in 5-8 years from now. Embrace it while you can, noob. I'm rooting for PS4/Wii-U in the meantime. (Not even the Ouya has dogshit stipulations like that lmao)

Hey, I wont argue that point. In that case it sounds like PS4 is best for you. Not me though. I'm far from rich with kids as well.

Yeah, but it would actually be more like having to call the dealership every single fckng day to get permission to drive a car that you already own. This is BS. I don't know what Microsoft is thinking. Do they actually think it's okay to require consumers to get their permission once a day to use something that we paid for in full?? Even SINGLE PLAYER games??? WTF Microsoft.. There are going to be ALOT of pissed of consumers around the world. Imagine not knowing about this and preordering an XBox One just to find out that you cannot play it. This is absolute bullshit. I will not support business practices like this...

[QUOTE="superclocked"]The conference was excellent. Lots of games and game footage. Unfortuantely though, I just learned that Microsoft confirmed the 24 hour check in time. So, after 24 hours offline, "it becomes a useless brick," as my 8 year old son put it. It's a shame that my son knows better than Microsoft...XboxStache

Your gonna play that thing in the wilderness or what`s the deal? If you don`t have internet then go out and get it, it`s pretty cool.

It's not about the XboxOne having a server now; it's about when servers are completely gone is what he's worried about. A game like Killer Instinct could be another instant classic that people may want to play years down the line. Everyone has the internet...it's just nice to have an option, dumb@$$!!!

MS said they can override the 24 hour check in where it is not available with a unlock code. Do some research before being so one sided and negative please.

I gotta give MS props for bringing the games bigtime. I really like Ryse, Dead Rising, TitanFall, and Spark. I was extremely impressed by Battlefield4, and all doubts about the Xbox Ones ability to deliver killer graphics no longer exists. Crimson Drago looked good as I was a huge fan of the Panzer dragon series. REmedy's new game, I really wish they had shown more gameplay. Same for Insomniac's exclusive title. nForza looked great as well. All in all they delivered, but no mention of Fable and only a glimpse of Black Tusks game.

But seriously, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Battlefield 4 and TitanFall REALLY stood out for me. The price was announced a $500 which I thought would be lower, but I can justify it.  Halo 5 teaser for 2014. I'n all in, Xbox One Day 1.

You can call it what you want, but its still the biggest pile of hose shit in the world having to check in once a day is a damn issue. If I buy a Xbox One its is in fact, mine. I will keep my eyes open as time passes to see how the industry goes and how I feel in your 5 to 8 years, but we are not in 1996 no matter how badly you love and miss that golden age of gaming. Things are changing for cell phones and wi-fi and laptops and tablets, ect. We don;t have every single thing figured out, but my God, a once a day mandatory stip is about as important as a flea farting in the woods. If that is such a huge thing for you then go with a PS4 and be well, lol. But for me, as a grown man who has gamed for 18 years and is in his 30's and has read the policies and is as concerned about privacy and my money and family as much as anyone, I'm open enough to how things are changing and how I have to change with it because if you don't you might as well go somewhere else. I own every damn thing I buy cause I can use it. But everything in life comes with rules of some kind. You need to grow up, seriously.

Yep. Unfortunately, you have gamers who are more content with having fun right now and only now. There are far too many of them who believe X1's mandatory online requirement is progressive. Online functionality should be a bonus that's supported and optional. There's no doubt in my mind that Microsoft went batshit crazy and the next step will be mandatory Xbox live service enrollment. They'd be better off turning X1 into a mass rental service. Also, Microsoft has yet to tackle the issue of Kinect...(another mandatory peripheral) I won't be getting an X1.

It was awesome to see KI make a comback its been a long time and I was a huge fan of that game back in the SNES and N64 days. I was also intrested in dead rising 3 but I dont think that will stay exclusive for long.

Its funny the ones crying about having to check in every 24 hours are the ones who are always online here or social sites. Stop crying, we know its just a fanboy remark.

As for the games only dead rising 3 caught my eye. Buut im a big sandbox fan.  Cars, shooters and fantasy games bore me.

Eh? First off, who is this "we" that you're referring to? Who are "y'all" exactly? Do you work for Microsoft? Because this sounds alot like Adam Orth's "deal with it" statement. It's VERY shitty of Microsoft to just say, "Oh well, lower class families just can't have nice things.." As for me, I just got our internet turned back on a couple of days ago. I haven't been on a forum in ages. And seeing as the transmission just failed in our car again, and we're going to have another car note added onto our bills, I seriously doubt that we're going to have the LUXURY of the internet along with a next gen console.. Microsoft: "Don't have reliable internet? Then we don't want you as a customer! DEAL WITH IT!"

Buy what you want. I never said it wasn't your right to be ripped off with stipulations even though you own something. Just make sure you have plenty of vaseline and preparation H. Also, yo still never answered that hypothetical question I placed in my response.

[QUOTE="shawn30"][QUOTE="superclocked"]I know how you feel. My son and I were excited as hell after the e3 conference. Then we found out that Microsoft confirmed the 24 check in. I went from high as a kite to pissed off in seconds. I really hope that Microsoft changes this BS...superclocked

My other half who lives in the States tells me that certain states have connection problems depending where you live. Over here in the UK, not everyone earns enough to buy decent internet. I have good internet, however, sometimes it goes gay even before my Brother forgets to pay the monthly bill for it. My friend's internet is so bad, it cuts off all the time, he has a PS3 and 360, he was more in to 360 than PS3 but as the X1 demands internet, he will go to the PS4

The games looked impressive, but it didn't change how I feel about the system. Both systems have their pluses and minuses for me.

The conference was excellent. Lots of games and game footage. Unfortuantely though, I just learned that Microsoft confirmed the 24 hour check in time. So, after 24 hours offline, "it becomes a useless brick," as my 8 year old son put it. It's a shame that my son knows better than Microsoft...superclocked
wow... your son is probably smarter than 95% of the dumb lemmings on this site... 1. They are so bad as to tout multiplats as exxclusives because they were at that presser...lol 2. They quickly forget and give up their rights just because ms shows games for the first time in years... (must be the no games to games thing that has them blinded) 3. They are all mostly being hypocrites as many said they wouldn't get x1, now are changing their tune over what really... a few shooters? I called it..and said before E3 MS presser that lemmings that were against x1 would be hypocrites by the end of the day.

This is bullshit propaganda from Microsoft: "Can't afford to pay $200 a month for internet and cable on top of house note, car notes, electricity, gas, water, and groceries? Then you're a horrible person with no common sense!" If I have to choose between getting a next gen console for my kids and getting internet for myself, then I will choose my kids all day long...

Let me get this straight: You guessed that after a poor XBOXONE reveal event a lot of people would change their minds if they had a good showing at E3?

Are people really this stupid? Honestly...I come to system wars to check in on reaction to E3 and I'm seeing some of the absolute dumbest posts in my life.

is it true the Xbox1 has only got 13 Exclusives, i hear PS4 has 48, i think it was on here as main news surrounding the PS4's exclusives. Sounds like X1 isn't doing to well on E3 :/, but i'm sure the E3 thing lasts a few days. But whats your official opinion on it at the momentMickeyminime
If you want games look into the PS4. M$ normally releases games the first year and then they drop support and live up from the broken hopes of naive lemmings that pay them $60 each year for nothing.

I guess common sense isn't so "common" anymore.

Propaganda from Microsoft? If I work for Microsoft I'm going to have to start asking for a raise.

In all honesty, it just doesn't make any sense to me. If people are having trouble paying bills, why are they looking to buy a $500 gaming system? You are on a video game site so you don't try and convince me that you don't own a 360 or a PS3 ($10000000 says that you own a PS3). Is that not good enough for your kids? Are they THAT spoiled?

I'm not even talking as a gamer I'm talking as a reasonable person. If you are already juggling bills, a brand new next gen console should be the last thing on your mind. Put that money in a college fund or something. Putting a brand new shiny controller into your kids hands won't make them love you or give them a better childhood than you could give them by doing other things that cost far less.

Damn you are the dumbest douche here. This is like the third time you have talked about people losing their life over a game console. Quit being so God damn stupid. They are game systems with a few apps. Nothing more.
