Crap price for Americans as well mate....Terrible. Not many exclusives and a price worse than the PS3 at launch (unless you're American)

I do much more than game in life. And in all thew years I had my internet service I can't remember it being down for longer than 5 hours. This is the most insignificant argument I hear people say about the Xbox One.We've got 2 kids and lots of bills. We can't always pay the cable bill. It goes down for a month or more at a time. We literally cannot afford to keep the internet on at all times. If we cannot play the XBox One when we're offline during this time, we're getting a PS4. End of story... Hey, I wont argue that point. In that case it sounds like PS4 is best for you. Not me though. I'm far from rich with kids as well.

Because if a consumer pays 500 dollars for a fvcking product, there should be no extra stipulations in order for it to be the consumer's product. Are you seriously that dense? If you bought a 100,000 dollar car, but the stipulation was "You can only ride this car 10 miles a day" would you still buy it? The games were awesome, I love the controller, I've supported Xbox since 2001...but it's horseshit for them to employ mandatory stipulations on a product the consumer owns. That's Bullsh!t. But you're probably one of those new age gamers that just began gaming in 2006. My Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox, Ps2, and even my Gamecube and Wii have online connectivity...but it's optional. Gaming servers will not be around in 5-8 years from now. Embrace it while you can, noob. I'm rooting for PS4/Wii-U in the meantime. This is BS. I don't know what Microsoft is thinking. Do they actually think it's okay to require consumers to get their permission once a day to use something that we paid for in full?? Your gonna play that thing in the wilderness or what`s the deal? If you don`t have internet then go out and get it, it`s pretty cool.
It's not about the XboxOne having a server now; it's about when servers are completely gone is what he's worried about. A game like Killer Instinct could be another instant classic that people may want to play years down the line. Everyone has the internet...it's just nice to have an option, dumb@$$!!! MS said they can override the 24 hour check in where it is not available with a unlock code. Do some research before being so one sided and negative please.[QUOTE="XboxStache"][QUOTE="sebbi11"]It's not about the XboxOne having a server now; it's about when servers are completely gone is what he's worried about. hahaha try harder upset crying cow....
its true ... hahaha sony is coming for uI was really impressed too! Day One will be awesome!I gotta give MS props for bringing the games bigtime. I really like Ryse, Dead Rising, TitanFall, and Spark. I was extremely impressed by Battlefield4, and all doubts about the Xbox Ones ability to deliver killer graphics no longer exists. Crimson Drago looked good as I was a huge fan of the Panzer dragon series. REmedy's new game, I really wish they had shown more gameplay. Same for Insomniac's exclusive title. nForza looked great as well. All in all they delivered, but no mention of Fable and only a glimpse of Black Tusks game.
But seriously, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Battlefield 4 and TitanFall REALLY stood out for me. The price was announced a $500 which I thought would be lower, but I can justify it. Halo 5 teaser for 2014. I'n all in, Xbox One Day 1.

I will keep my eyes open as time passes to see how the industry goes and how I feel in your 5 to 8 years, but we are not in 1996 no matter how badly you love and miss that golden age of gaming. Things are changing for cell phones and wi-fi and laptops and tablets, ect. We don;t have every single thing figured out, but my God, a once a day mandatory stip is about as important as a flea farting in the woods. If that is such a huge thing for you then go with a PS4 and be well, lol. But for me, as a grown man who has gamed for 18 years and is in his 30's and has read the policies and is as concerned about privacy and my money and family as much as anyone, I'm open enough to how things are changing and how I have to change with it because if you don't you might as well go somewhere else. There are far too many of them who believe X1's mandatory online requirement is progressive. Online functionality should be a bonus that's supported and optional. There's no doubt in my mind that Microsoft went batshit crazy and the next step will be mandatory Xbox live service enrollment. They'd be better off turning X1 into a mass rental service. Also, Microsoft has yet to tackle the issue of Kinect...(another mandatory peripheral) I won't be getting an X1.
Its funny the ones crying about having to check in every 24 hours are the ones who are always online here or social sites. Stop crying, we know its just a fanboy remark.Â

Eh? First off, who is this "we" that you're referring to? Who are "y'all" exactly? Do you work for Microsoft? Because this sounds alot like Adam Orth's "deal with it" statement. It's VERY shitty of Microsoft to just say, "Oh well, lower class families just can't have nice things.." As for me, I just got our internet turned back on a couple of days ago. I haven't been on a forum in ages. And seeing as the transmission just failed in our car again, and we're going to have another car note added onto our bills, I seriously doubt that we're going to have the LUXURY of the internet along with a next gen console.. Microsoft: "Don't have reliable internet? Then we don't want you as a customer! DEAL WITH IT!"Its funny the ones crying about having to check in every 24 hours are the ones who are always online here or social sites. Stop crying, we know its just a fanboy remark.Â

well that's not true
It's 98% true though.[QUOTE="kingsfan_0333"]rong[QUOTE="superclocked"]We've got 2 kids and lots of bills. We can't always pay the cable bill. It goes down for a month or more at a time. We literally cannot afford to keep the internet on at all times. If we cannot play the XBox One when we're offline during this time, we're getting a PS4. End of story...superclocked
..Doesn't anybody else see what's wrong with this?
Can't pay the bills, but looking to buy a next gen video game system.
I guess common sense isn't so "common" anymore.
Propaganda from Microsoft? If I work for Microsoft I'm going to have to start asking for a raise.
In all honesty, it just doesn't make any sense to me. If people are having trouble paying bills, why are they looking to buy a $500 gaming system? You are on a video game site so you don't try and convince me that you don't own a 360 or a PS3 ($10000000 says that you own a PS3). Is that not good enough for your kids? Are they THAT spoiled?
I'm not even talking as a gamer I'm talking as a reasonable person. If you are already juggling bills, a brand new next gen console should be the last thing on your mind. Put that money in a college fund or something. Putting a brand new shiny controller into your kids hands won't make them love you or give them a better childhood than you could give them by doing other things that cost far less.
[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="kuraimen"] If you want games look into the PS4. M$ normally releases games the first year and then they drop support and live up from the broken hopes of naive lemmings that pay them $60 each year for nothing.kuraimen
