For all that thought vader was better:
The Xbox 360 version's advantage rests with its exclusive guest Star Wars character, Yoda. The PS3 version is saddled with Darth Vader, but Yoda is the better character of the two, as he's sprightly and nimble, as opposed to the slow and lumbering Vader.

Uhm, i might be wrong here, but isnt that a matter of personal taste? For example, Siegfried is slow and lumbering, but i much prefer him to someone like Xianghua.

great for 360 though!!
but I dont know why I get the "unprofessional" feeling reading what you quoted it sounded like one of system wars poster who writes a whole para over a console of his choice why its better and in the end says "I am not a fanboy"

Exacly. They just like fast characters more thats all. Vader is a tall cyborg why the hell did you think he was going to move as fast as yoda.

Every game has a slow and lumbering and a sprightly and nimble counterpart.
Typically the slow guy either has more damage more health or both and the spritely and nimble is saddled with less health or damage.
It's the way fighting games are designed and it's pretty atrocious journalism to plug something that utterly bewildering.
why even read reviews then?wolverine4262
All reviews have to have a degree of objectivity. Thats like me saying "Dont buy Mass Effect, it has a levelling system and im not keen on RPG elements". Subjective as it may seem, everything has to be taken in the context of what it is. There is absolutely no reason for me to put yoda in the "pro" column when deciding which version to buy when my preferred fighting styles lie with characters like Cervantes, Nightmare and Siegfried.

Technically he's supposed to considering that Yoda is a little 900 year old gremlin and he can move extremely quickly too...
they use the force to dance around and stuff and their mastery of teh jedize to be all quick and powerfall.
But then they got crammed into a fighting game and this is what happened to them.
PS3 has the slight edge .... coming from 1Up that is a HUGE compliment. :lol:Delsage
Its funny that they quickly took it back since they said that 360 will have the option later on. Which is unfair to say. You must judge the version how it is right now. This is not a MMO.

I agree, for me, I'm a power fighter. I find the character with the strongets moves and master HIM. SC is the game where you need to make the fighter flow and once you learn all the moves, then its a breeze. Just let the hate flow.

I just never seen vader speed around like yoda. Hes always been a lumbering guy. Yoda is small and has very light cloths. While Vader is big and is basically more machine then man. So hes more heavy.
have you played it?[QUOTE="beast667"][QUOTE="XenoNinja"]Unquestionably Namco's best fighting game?...um no.XenoNinja
Yup! played the arcade version, and it was kinda like Rise of the Robots.

right, mandotory install for loading times on par with 360 version = optionally installing entire game onto HD [QUOTE="Fayt445"][QUOTE="LiquidSnakesdad"][QUOTE="Delsage"]PS3 has the slight edge .... coming from 1Up that is a HUGE compliment. :lol:LiquidSnakesdad

But yet, when acting a 360 fan about installing any games, they said no because of the 20gb hard drive.

No, I have a 20gb HD. What does that have to do with anything?
