Soul Calibur 4 Comparison HD PS3 VS 360

Again, another Coke Vs. Pepsi debate.

With both versions running via HDMI I see nearly no difference on my TV.

However if I paused it took a screen shot and zoomed in 100x maybe I might, but from a functional stance they are basically the same.

Only a faboy with some obsession with the graphics could tell the difference.

Both look identical. (amd don't come with the "textures" argument, we all know you have no idea)

Only a fanboy can see a difference in this.

If I had to pick one, I'd say the PS3 looks slightly better. But there's no way I could tell which was which without the x360/PS3 labels.

The Good:
It seems the days of the PS3 getting inferior multiplats are over. The devs are figuring out the PS3. This is good for gamers.

The Bad:
The X360 is a whole year older than the PS3. Dev's have had almost 2 years to optimize for the PS3, and yet PS3 games do not look better than 360 games. There should be a world of difference between tech that's separated by a whole year. PS3 is marketed as some super computer/gaming machine. "Play Beyond." Unfortunately Sony has yet to deliver the "beyond" yet. They have finally delivered the "play" though. With Blu Ray and MSG IV... maybe "Watch Beyond" would be a better slogan.

Im really getting sick of this nowadays...it seems impossible for anyone to give an opinion about either console without being branded a "fanboy" just because people have an opinion towards a paticular console means at least they have a bit of personality..and a little bit of character.This does not make them in anyway a fanboy. I'll tell you what..why dont you all get of the fence and join us here in the real world....If you dont have an opnion ,go away and stop pushing around the term in attempt to fool others into thinking u have more than one brain cell by taking some sorted of disilluisioned highroad....u make me SICK.

These threads TRULY show us who our hard-core fanboys are. They and their opinions must be sumarially dismissed in future conversations. They are incapable of being rational and reasonable. The notion that ANYONE would quibble over details that require of unnatural zoom to even detect slight differences is sad.

This is not how true gamers behave.

I'm really surprised that people fell for this one. lol ...Look close and you'll see that even the Xbox 360 logo has jaggies. Doctored photo's??? Yep!

The PS3 version has better textures, better lighting and the character models have a much higher polygon count.

The 360 version looks horrible!

Within the first 10 seconds of that video, I was like, "Yep, the PS3 version wins again."

As of now I can no longer take you seriously on these boards good day sir.

Just saw the vid from gametrailers, PS3 has better resolution u can see on the close up at the end and perhaps better physics all in all not much of a diff to hate one system.JEANLUCKUGAR
