I'm fine with my Xbox One size, I'm fine with my PS4 size. Only thing I don't like about my PS4 just superficially I HATE the sloped design, so it'd be nice in their next iteration to make something a bit more boxish.

They talk about how much better PSVR is compared to anything MS has... MS teaming up with either OR, or Vive is almost a certainty at this point if not both, making MS's offering superior.

Every single point that Sony fanboys blow out of purportion, MS responds by bettering their preferred console.

2.For the foreseeable future, yes. With the Neo not even announced yet, it's looking more and more like it won't likely release until a few months into 2017. With the Neo and Scorpio releasing only a few months apart, it's very unlikely that Sony will release another console for at least a few years. We're talking about known consoles in development... Not some PS5 that might not release for 3 or more years.

Overcompensation for the RROD, extremely quiet operation and cool operating temperatures, it made perfect sense at the time.

The fact that you even imply that both are on equal footing is simply a joke,you don't know shit about hardware difference the xbox one upscaling 720p and 900p games to 4k will not make its games look like true 4k games,is at 1080p and PS4 games look sharper because the image gets blur by the upscale.
The XBO S is also $399 is you want 2TB and old weak console,is nice to see you now like 4k movies last gen when the PS3 was the whole gen 1080p in movies vs the 360 you people didn't care and downplay it constantly..

This is the part I never get. Of all my life, I have never set my consoles vertically and I still think that position is still wrong to me. I tried it with my PS3 to see if it was cool at first but it look so out of place.
As for the size of consoles, I never cared about the sizes for any console to this day but buying Xbox 360 slim made sense due to the RROD on the original design and upgrading Xbox 360 was totally worth it for it's time but I ended up keeping my fat PS3 cause of the BC. Also OG Xbox was legit due to it build-in HDD and raw power.

2.For the foreseeable future, yes. With the Neo not even announced yet, it's looking more and more like it won't likely release until a few months into 2017. With the Neo and Scorpio releasing only a few months apart, it's very unlikely that Sony will release another console for at least a few years. We're talking about known consoles in development... Not some PS5 that might not release for 3 or more years.
3. It's not only easier to partner with a company for VR, it's also smarter in this case. Sony has bet the farm on PSVR being a huge success. MS is taking none of that risk, and is getting a superior VR system on top of that.

"on equal footing" in terms of perception to the casual consumer is what I said (repeatedly).. they aren't going to know about 900p native -1080p dynamic scaling to 4k upscaled versus 1080p-1440p native to 4k upscaled.. that isn't an attractive headline and it also isn't an attractive sales pitch.. all they will likely be concerned with is "do both of them run games in 4K?", "do both of them do HDR?", "can they play UHD bluray movies?" and "how much do they cost?".. that's it dude.. and according that, they are on equal footing.. any other difference can be attributed to the $299 vs $399 pricepoints and the average consumer may opt for the lower costing machine regardless of the differences in performance.. and yes, there is indeed a $299 500gb Xbox One S model.. do you even do the slightest amount of research before you post?..
and for your information, I was a day one PS3 owner and enjoyed the bluray playback.. i didn't downplay it all and hyped it every chance I got.. in hindsight, I've found I that I prefer digital movies since I can load a bunch of them on a HDD for when I travel.. but to each their own..

Maybe you think every one is as miss informed and dumb as you,most people who care about power actually know what it is and means,will not just jump to 4k.
I know there is a 500GB model but the $399 one is the one selling on top at amazon wonder why,so basically people are paying extra $100 for space when on Neo they will pay $ 100 more but for more power.
