What was that grappling hook nonsense? Definitely not a deal breaker, but c'mon. And there's something weird in what they showed with the mp. Like there was no impact from getting shot or something. Maybe the player (without the shield/forcefield) wasn't getting hit? I dunno.
Overall it looks pretty good. I hope it's good.

never got a great developer/studio to make one. Best warhammer games were the RTS games Dawn of War 1 and 2 which were made by Relic. Ive liked some other wh40k games, battlefleet gothic armada series was pretty good, first space marine game was solid( also Relic), blood and teef was a good metal slug take on the series, Mechanicus was a good turn based strategy game, there are decent 40k games but there is alot of crap too. Most of them just constricted with smaller budget studios.
This one looks promising to me though. Saber Interactive is making it and id argue this is by far thier biggest game/ opportunity. If they nail it it could be great for this studio. They made insurgency and that was solid FPS, also made World War Z and Evil dead game.. decent games but nothing crazy. Hope they nail this one tho, good luck saber.
@sargentd: Yeah I liked the first Dawn of War and the first Space Marine. I don't know if it holds up, but I kinda liked the old Chaos Gate as well. Eternal Crusade looked cool, but just didn't pan out. You're probably right that most of the duds were just subpar companies that made them. I liked Insurgency as well, so I hope this turns out well.
Looks good. Loved everything I saw. Really excited for just plowing through tons of enemies as a Space Marine; I love my power fantasies, I don't need to be stripped down to some noob in order to make the game difficult just give me power and enemies to kill hahaha. Good mindless fun.
Only thing I really need to know at this point is: will there be crossplay? Got a friend that loves WH40K and it'd be dope to play with him on PS5 while I am on PC.

Yep, I'm expecting it to be above-average in terms of objective (or as objective as one can get) metrics.
Subjectively, I'm pretty stoked for this game.
First one has aged poorly however so I really hope they've revamped the gameplay significantly otherwise it will be a snoozefest.

First one was orc heavy, so second one looks to be going nid heavy. Honestly nids super brutal and swarmy so itll still be cool. But yeah there is alot of cool shit in this universe they could use, hope it's good and has legs so they can maybe explore more factions, equipment, and worlds. I'm hoping for the best. Could be top tier 40k game of all time. Could be a dud. Fingers crossed.
It looks like a mix of the original classic Far Cry and Turok.
I'm amazed by how far this project has come. I swear this thing has wave technology now, wooden boards flying off when you shoot them. It's perhaps the most interesting indie FPS game.
And then there was that little dinosaur that you can give orders. Serious 6th and 7th gen vibes.
It does look cool. Love the swarms and overall visuals. Also didn't know there's coop, that's awesome. I'll most likely get this game, looks like a more fun Gears.
One thing I don't like is that finishing moves replenish your armor. I think that will make you feel forced to do them whenever you're able, and that might get old.

saw your name on last post my friend, I though you are going to complain about this game but surprise you find it good.
Ahh sometimes it's the simple things. Big stompy space marine with big guns and chainswords smashing things up.....love to see it :p. I remember the original being good fun in short bursts but could also be a bit repetitive. So maybe a bit more variety in the killing would be good.
.....Also is there anything to be said for an expansion pack where you play as the orks. Orks V Tyranids campaign of sheer madness :D.
I’ve been stoked for this release since I first heard about it. I will be pre ordering it for sure. I’ve played a ton of Warhammer video games the past year and unfortunately most of them are terrible, but this looks very promising!
