I'm pretty sure it always was multiplatform (Xbox360/PC). But yeah I wouldn't be suprised if it made its way to the PS3 at some point. This is an Ubisoft game after all.
It will probably hit PC sooner or later, unless MS paid big for it. They said it was a "business decision." Which means they were paid, but depending on how much they were paid and the conditions it were for. Usually for a 3rd party to go exclusive for game means not only cost of development, but cost of potential revenue they'd gain from the other platforms. Which is a lot.
This isn't directed at the TC, but seriously SW, if we're not going to allow "console exclusives" we're going to have to stop posting "Game X going multiplat!/?" every time a PC/360 title goes to the PS3 (or vice-versa).
Its Ubisoft...anyone who honestly thinks it won't be on PS3 isn't thinking straight Every SplinterCell game has shown up on a playstation platform...well i don't think Double Agent did.....Did that ever get released for PS3?

Yeh, Double Agent got released on PS3...i don't remember how long after though.
It was never exclusive? I hope this supposed new polish they have wanted to add is directed to the PC version - they owe a lot of PC Gamers for that terrible Double Agent port.
