[QUOTE="Enosh88"][QUOTE="SamiRDuran"] no they are designed for pc hardware. nothing to do with windowscainetao11
emm that's bull****
games are designed for windows, that's why under requierments they (well most of them) list "windows XY" on the back of the case and won't work on other OS-es like mac without some fiddling around (actualy they won't work on a mac at all without instaling and running windows), they also use directX which is MS property and also listed on the back of the case, a modern game won't run without directX
so yeah, you can't baiscly run any game without using something by microsoft, if you can get over the windows thingy (and even that baiscly requires to mask the os to put the game into thinking it's running on windows), you still NEED directX for the game to run
but if you say games on the pc have nothing to do with windows, feel free to uninstall windows, put on a mac or linux OS and try to run a game without directX, just fyi OpenGL games are very very rare, to the point where they are baiscly dead today
great box art btw
I didn't know that. Thank you sir. People always state how MS get's no money from PC gaming, but I never buy that. The money isn't directly from a games sales but there has to be something in GFW for them. It's like saying Sony has no stake in the PC market. And this makes it microsoft's game how? They profit from that game in what way?
By that poor rationale i can easily say that pretty much every game developed on any platform was using Windows and using Microsoft's Visual Studios to code in it, and since MS has a stake in every game's development, since they NEEDED Windows PCs, that every game on every platform is an MS game.
