You are making a claim about an exclusive that, in its current form requires the precision of a mouse or joystick and far more buttons than a controller is coming to console in 2 years time just so you don't have to accept the game is shaping up instead of vapourware.

I'm saying that God of War will likely end up on PS NOW which, at this moment in time, is a far safer assumption.

@nepu7supastar7: I don't follow FF7 Remake's development, but SC is currently playable. Depending on what patch 3.7 and 3.8 will bring (we'll probably know in january), it might have a soft launch next year.

Chris Roberts is trying to create his own gaming cult. Or he already has achieved that and is trying grow more his wealth and fan base. He wants SC to known as the most non-MMO powerful PC game in the world. He has a big ego so he try to stretch the game as long as he wants after release.

Like what most games are doing by creating MOBA's, BR, and shared mmo's.

I pay about $3.33 per month to play online, best of all my mp games arent ghost towns. I can still find plenty of servers for BF4 but I cant say the same for the PC version. And no, a handful of jank servers based in some shit hole in eastern europe with red ping.

I pay 30-40 for new games thanks to the abundant PS Plus deals.

I buy new games for a fraction of their cost on release, thanks to key sites. For example I bought Shadow of the Tomb Raider with a season pass for £24.99 instead of the £60 retail price

What "hand me downs" am I waiting for exactly? RDR2? If I wanted to play that I'd get it for my PS4 but I'm not particularly interested in it. Mean while you're in a thread with console fans hoping that Squadron 42 gets released on console at some point well after it's out on PC. As for Star Citizen, that's already playable and getting regularly patched and bigger with each one.

On that note, Star Citizen and Squadron 42 cost me £45 in total as I'm an early backer. Should Squadron 42 ever get a console release you can guarantee that it'll be at least $60 and an even bigger if, should Star Citizen ever get a console release (highly unlikely) it'll cost you another $60 and your monthly sub to play it.

First of all GT5 is a fucking PS3 game where online was always free. Second, MLB The Show is a yearly sports franchise which have always had their servers shut off after 18 months and I don't even know what Tomorrow Children is so I don't blame Sony for shutting that niche title's MP.

So much for not a ghost town. Taking about ports: how's that Metro 2010 port 4 years later on a next gen system with cut down technology? How about XCOM? How about ROTTR? How about PUBG, Diablo etc etc. and especially since you're in SQ42 thread, how about you and your brethren port-begging it?As my fellow hermits have already outlined the key difference is we get superior versions while you get nerfed ports. Who'd have thought that a larger budget would result in a much. much larger game, with >$200 million development budget and is pushing the boundaries of gaming on all fronts, taking longer than a $23 million game. You know what would have been a con? Releasing a $23 million game with a $200 million budget.
