Has there been any news on that foruth FF XIII name Square trademarked, "Final Fantasy XIII Haeresis"? The announcement could very well relate to that.

According to the latest 1up podcast, they said that while the FF13 announcement swung the pendulum in favour of the 360, this new announcement will swing the pendulum back to the PS3. They also hinted that it is somehow FF7 related, or "advent children" related.

ff13 cant be done on the wii....

I know it's cool to hate on FFVII if you want to look hardcore or RPG savy, but it's still a masterpiece to me and I would buy the remake day one.

The old guard is just tired of playing the same damn games we played generations ago. We still have those games. A remake for us is pointless. One of the main draws to a JRPG is the story.

It's not gonna happen. Sony actually owns distribution rights for FF7 everywherer except Japan so the only way XBL would get it is if they released it in Japan....which makes zero sense.

If we are talking about a spinoff for FF7 (like Crisis Core), that is a possiblity but there is no way you are probably EVER gonna see FF7 on XBL.....that is unless Sony allows SE to do it but what are the chances of that happening after SE hit them in the nuts with FF13.
