I don't see the problem. In the not too distant future ALL games will come as digital downloads, physical mediums will be a thing of the past and trading used games won't be possible anyway. It's just Steam going viral in essence. Microsoft are paving the way as usual and everyone else will follow suit.

I think he is saying this as more like wishful thinking on his part. Game devs want to crush used game sales and they would try anything to do it. Are they pushing this on MS who knows but I dont' think MS is going to do this.

My rant only applies if the info is legit. But MS should not be acting arrogant at all. They allowed Sony to catch up with them in worldwide sales after they completely botched the PS3 launch. They allowed Nintendo to sell the most consoles. I can see why Sony was arrogant with the PS3 due to the fact that they made the highest selling console of all time with the PS2. And Nintendo's arrogance came from the massive success of the DS and Wii but what the Hell kind of reason does MS have to be arrogant?TheDidact

Why would the Kinect be plugged in? My room isnt even big enough for a Kinect. Not even close.BuldozerX

The new kinect uses less room and can work around furniture. The PS4 is going to use PS4 eye that is like kinect. 

Plus all the games will just be on the PS4 with the same experience as PC.stayhigh1

If they block used games I will go to PC only I guess.

I've always been an Xbox guy, but no used games + being online all the time x forcing Kinect upon us = me making the switch to Playstation

So if I buy 100 games for my Xbox 720 and they use some always online system, what happens the day in the future when they shut down the online servers like Dreamcast did? Do I own $5000 useless disc and plastic?

Well, since MS refuse to adress this rumours, start pre ordering the PS4.

I doubt Microsoft would have a no used games system, that would probably be the most effective marketing you could have for getting a Playstation 4 over an Xbox if they did that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did do that, but I don't think they will.
