Just because people have too much hype for this game doesn't mean it will get a good score. Look at it in comparison to the recent spam of amazing games ( ME, AC, SMG, Crysis as examples ). It's REALLY gotta deliver and bring something really FRESH AND NEW to get a score like that.
Edit: P.S. I'm a HUGE ssb seriesfan but I'm not going to go talking INSANE just because I like the games. o_o
For those of you who say that it doesn't do too much different, what about Halo 3? How much different is that than the other two games? I don't think anyone would say that it is altogether a different game. Bungie just added stuff to the core game in order to make it better. It appears that SSBB is adding more to SSBM than what Halo 3 added to Halo 2. This game will have better sound, better visuals, online play, and a great amount of customization from your own level creator to deciding on your button layout. There are also downloadable levels (not quite sure how it works but you can look it up). This will be for Nintendo's multiplayer what Super Mario Galaxy was for its single player game (well I guess you can play with two people). It appears that they are adding pretty much everything that they can into the game, with a few minor exceptions, so I do not see how someone can say that it will be marked down for being too similar to the previous Smash Brothers installments.

SSBB is a completely different experience than those other games, and that will help its case. Plus, it isn't coming out right now, so it will stand out compared to its competition that is released close to its date.
I hear all of these people saying it will get this score or that score, but not very many people give any solid evidence as to why he or she believes this.
