hmm i would have to say gta4 will sell more not because its a better game just because its comin out for 360 n ps3 but SSBB will give it a hell of a run
I'll go with SSBB. Why pretty much every Wii owner is waiting for this game. GTA IV will sell pretty damn good because it's multiplatform, but alot of the M rated games are bought by kids, and alot of parents know about the GTA games so it will be a bigg no for kids, but still alot of people are going to buy it.
For quality, I know that I would much rather play SSBB than GTA4, mainly because GTA4 isn't my kind of game. I'm sure GTA4 will be reviewed better though.
I'm not interested in either but GTA IV will outsell SSBB (both will be huge ofcourse). And as far as the numbers for Japan, while impressive, it is Japan and it is Nintendo so not exactly shocking. SSBB will outsell GTA IV in Japan probably but I believe we're talking overall.

GTA will sell more since it's multi-plat. I've only played SSB a few times, but it wasn't my thing. I like GTA a little more, but I'm going to try the new SSBB, so we'll see.
Dunno really, GTA sold 10million last gen but it was multiplatform, SSBM sold 7million and was only on the GC. I think, SSBB will sell more but seriously it's a tough choice.

That's one review. Remember, it's only hyped AA here because SSB has never scored AAA at GS before. And GTA, well... In their podcast, IGN sounds pretty pissed about the SSE and I wouldn't be extremely shocked if it scored an 8.9 there.

What does SSE mean? subspace emissary, the adventure mode.

IGN really disappointed me in their podcast. Saying stuff like "Olimir isn't the kind of character you use to win a game, he's more of a novelty". Because they have only clocked in maybe 30 minutes with him and you suck with him (big S said he would be very hard to master) doesn't mean the character sucks.
I have never been interested in GTA but that game is a casual magnet and like-wise to the hardcore. I reckon GTA4 will no doubt sell more but SSBB will be one of the biggest sellers for the Wii this year.
San Andreas, GTA VC and GTA3 all sold over 10 millions.... I think GTA4 will sell more but thoses games were on PS2 which has a huge userbase... if Wii keeps selling strong and get around PS2 sales, likely Brawl. If not than GTA4.
SSB has a much larger fanbase around the world and I would argue that if 90% of every Wii owner on the planet bought SSB (which will probably happen) it would outsell GTA worldwide. Its a toss up for the US alone though.

That's possible, even probable, but a 90% attach rate is just ridiculous, not even Halo can do that.
